Great Information! I actually have a 71 year old grand uncle who is currently suffering from psoriasis. Synthetic cures may cause him side effects due to his old age, so this remedy offered by nature itself can be a great option. Thanks for this hub swathi! 1 vote up and useful!

RNMSN Thanks for stopping by, Bitter gourd is a vegetable, like bottle gourd and pumpkins it does not have thick outer layer withholds on drying. It is small, green, thin and rough with bumps on it.I don't think we can use it in pyrography. It does not work as container for water storage. It is dried,to use in powder form in medicines or fried chips as eatables.

Art is a creation of wonders from anything.

I don't have any idea whether it works in the art field.

this is very interesting!! I clicked on it because I love pyrography and gourds are a natural medium for the "fire"

but this article is interesting and informative about the uses of the bitter gourd...but if it is dried is it like any other gourd and can be cleaned out/used for a container for water/or used as an art source like I use gourds? or is it truly a vegetable and does not dry out like other gourds?
