Blackberries and strawberries are delicious at anytime of the year but for some reason they just seem to taste better to me in the springtime. I love putting blackberries in my morning or post workout protein shakes in the springtime. Blackberries are very high in antioxidants & tannins which are great overall for your body. This shake is also great for a mid-afternoon meal replacement shake. Simple and easy this blackberry & strawberry shake can be made in less than three minutes.

Yields: 1 Shake

Ingredients

  • 8oz Water
  • 1-Scoop Whey protein powder
  • 1-Tbsp Organic ground flaxseed
  • 
1-Cup Blackberries
  • 
½- Cup Strawberries
  • 4-5 4-5 Ice cubes
  1. Combine all ingredients in blender, mix until desired smoothness. Pour in to chilled glass. Serve and enjoy!
