Body Glove 90147 Wide Mouth Ice and Hot Water Bottle

Body Glove makes cool surfing gear, hence the name of the company. Cool surfers want stuff that fits like a glove. Unfortunately, surfing brings the pain. This officially logo-ed hot water bottle also doubles as an ice bag. Hot and cold relief always lie close at hand. Fill it with ice for reducing swelling in the immediate hours following traumatic soft tissue injuries. Fill it with how water to encourage blood flow to decrease healing time.

Perfectly Prepared (4 Dvds 5 Audio Cds) Childbirth dvd

Birthin' babies tends to be painful, although it happens so often that there must be an upside to it. We're not here to judge. This voluminous set of DVDs offers instruction, inspiration, and yoga to the childbirth preparation, event, and postgame press conference. Preparation is 1/2 the battle, although rest assured that the other 1/2 still hurts like the dickens.

New Back Cycler Pain Relief Cushion

Driving long distances often inspires intense back pain. To that end, the folks at Back Cycler devised a device to ease back pain while continuing to keep it between the white lines. This device has actually been built into the seat backs of over-the-road big rigs. If it's good enough for BJ and The Bear, it's probably good enough for a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta.

Far Infrared Lamp with Two Heads

"Two heads are better than one", especially when each head contains a 275 watt infra-red heating device emitting special wavelengths that may relieve pain. This free-standing device hovers over your pain and shines it away. It may look like any other infra-red light on any street corner, but the proprietary mineral coating gives off a range of electromagnetic radiation unlike normal double-headed infra-red lamps.

Heavy Duty Single Speed Massager Jeanie Rub

You'll sssttutterr in luxury with this heavy duty massage unit from Massage Therapy. Vibrate away your pain with industrial strength components designed to shake, rattle, and shake some more. Your feet will llooovvveee iiiittttt...

Dual Channel SD TENS Unit - ProM-503D Black Case

TENS is an acronym for "Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation", which means that you twitch, but not as bad as Wile E. Coyote when he stuck his finger in a light socket. This subtle twitching is thought to increase blood flow and shorten recovery time. Stick the pads on your body (ask for professional help) and clip the controller to your belt. The LCD read-out lets you adjust amplitude and treatment duration.

Air Pack Ergonomic Backpack

A properly fitted backpack can allow the human body to carry heavy stuff without pain. Ants can carry 10 to 50 times their body weight: this backpack makes no such claims, but certainly a few textbooks and a power bar will fit comfortably in there. Anyway, the ants drag stuff with their little pincer mouths. We humans don't have that luxury. There's a mesh bag on the outside for less heavy stuff that's soggy. A mini air pump is included: pump up the air bladder to improve the fit of the pack. Pump up the volume in the little hidden compartment for your MP3 player.

Nice hub on pain relief. I used the airpacks backpack to carry my computer in the days when I walked to work and highly recommend it. Very adjustable with a lower lumbar support. You have to use both straps though - no over the shoulder. When you do a longer walk with your backpack over your shoulder it's like giving yourself the Vulcan nerve pinch.
