Can HCG Indeed Help In Losing Weight?

Updated on March 3, 2016

The weight loss industry is normally rife with fads whether online or offline. Every other day it is like there is a new fad coming up. Even more shocking is how easily the common people are accepting these fads without thinking about potential repercussions.  Many people hope to lose weight hurriedly with the help of these fad products, but if you ask me, I never believe in fads, and never will! In this hub I will let you know about the latest weight loss fad called HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) and how far it helps people on loosing weight.

First and foremost, I know many people are wondering that HCG is just another drug, you are dead wrong! Guess what, It is just a hormone which is already present in your body. The hormone is normally found to in plenty for pregnant women. That is why a woman will automatically test positive for pregnancy if found with HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) .

People never knew about the benefits of HCG on people who are overweight until an author called Kevin Trudeau came up with a book claiming that HCG can indeed help people in losing extra weight. For those who don't know, Kevin Trudeau has already spent a significant amount of time in jail for violating severally the FTC guidelines.

While Kevin Trudeau claimed that HCG is miraculous hormones that can help people lose weight quicker than any other weight loss pill or supplement, there is no scientific or medical evidence that helps back up Kevin Trudeau’s claim. Not even the manufacturers who produce a synthesized version of HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) .

Claim that it is helpful for obese people. It is only a few experts and doctors who claim that they have proof of its value on overweight people. If you have been trying to loose weight or burn excessive fat without results.

For almost forty years now, quite a few tests and studies have been done on HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) to prove how valid this claims are. Lots of  research has been done regarding how beneficial HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin)  on overweight people can be. No research or study has been done till today that can be able to prove that HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin)  indeed helps one lose weight. So how do some experts and doctors say the opposite?

Well, in case you didn’t  know, if you opt for HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) treatment, doctors will also ask you to start dieting on low calorie foods. So whether it is the low calorie dieting or the HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) hormone that is helpful for people to lose weight is not clear.

Last but not least, HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) has been banned in the US for a long time now. If you want to buy synthetic HCG, you will need to buy it either import it from another country or get it from the black market , both can prove to be very costly for you!

If you would like to take my advice, I would recommend that until the effectiveness of HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is fully proved, just follow the old ways of exercises and healthy food plan . If you have been trying to loose weight or burn excessive fat without results.

Health food plan doesn't mean that you will be dieting; just eat lots of fruits and raw vegetables, and also remember to drink lots of water, finally make sure that you avoid the junk and fatty foods as much as you can! This at least has been proven to succeed in weight loss programs.
