Candida is usually a Stress related condition. Marked by a seriously compromised immune disorder or response. Candida albicans can normally live harmlessly in our gastriontesticnal tracts and the genito-urinary areas of our body.

Candida can also be defined as infection of the skin or mucous membrane with any species of candida but mainly candida albicans. It Usually is Localized on the skin, nails, vagina, vulva, bronchi or lungs, but can also infect the bloodstream.



Candida has many forms which I would like to disgust Which runs all in the same family. Candida is also part of the normal flora that lives in the intestinal tract of normal healthy people. The immune system (if it is healthy) usually regulates the amount of growth of candida so that it will not harm your body.

Candida is a fungus and it can cause infections as candidiasis. There are about 20 different species of candida that can cause infections such as

  • Athletes foot
  • toe nail fungus
  • vaginitis
  • vulvitis
  • thrush (mouth)
  • candida in the esophagus
  • digestive tract
  • intestinal tract
  • urinary tract
  • esophagus (carries food from the mouth to the stomach)

Symptoms of Candida

Symptoms include but not limited to:

  • hormonal imbalances
  • severe itching
  • prostatitis
  • dizziness
  • foggy thinking
  • extreme fatigue
  • loss of memory
  • weight gain
  • weight loss
  • vaginal yeast infections
  • anxiety and depression

  • vaginitis
  • kidney or bladder infections
  • memory loss
  • mood swings
  • adrenal problems

Vaginitis and Vulvitis


Can be cause from a yeast infection by Candida albicans, which is common with candidasis but also Gardnerella backteria and Trichomonas vaginalis a protozan is common with it. The Last two is mostly common through sexual conduct and you can also get this in pregnancy.


This can be caused by fungi bacteria or herpes or any other viral infections. Most is rooted to Candida. Women who suffer with Diabetes or eat a lot of Carbs suffer the most with these types of infections.

What is a Yeast Infection

Thrush is Yeast like Candida albicans that lives on the tongue the gums palate tonsils and throat. Most common in infants but can also be give to an infant from breastfeeding from the mother if she has a vaginal yeast infection and is lactating.

Candida as a Sexually Transmitted Disease

Candidiasis which is a Yeast Infection is most likely caused by Candida albicans or Monilia albicans which can produce in Women a thick whitish vaginal discharge that causes itching and irratation in the genital area. Males can h ave irritation of the glads or skin of the penis. This is not always asexually acquired.
