The Funds that are raised are go to The Cure Kids Cancer Fund. The Cards of Hope are a fundraiser unique to the West Virginia University Children's Hospital.

How are they created?

The Cards of Hope are created during the summer months during the annual summer party. Children who are affected by cancer as well as well as their siblings. The cards are voted on by doctors, nurses and other community members. Whatever pictures get the most votes get published for the Holiday Season.  In November the original prints get auctioned off at the Annual Cash Bash.  One year a print sold for $2,300!

The funds also go towards providing educational resources for the parents and families of children with cancer. Some money also goes towards providing state of the art technology for the facility.
