Chinese Herbal Warming Pain Relief Gel.

Updated on December 6, 2010

Years ago my mother bought me this amazing gel. I suffer from arthritis, back troubles, and on occasion leg pain from back troubles. I have arthritis in my hips, knees, back and hands. And over a year and a half ago I tore my ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) and there are days where it was almost impossible to get out of bed. I refuse to take pain medications, they do not help the pain, they only seem to make me tired and groggy, and once in a while I will take an Advil to take the inflammation down. And I think I have tried every over the counter pain relief cream, gels, patches, just to try and alleviate some of the pain, to no avail.

Nothing seemed to work, I tried ice, and I tried heat, and still found myself in pain. And one day my mother was going through some magazines and found this wonderful Chinese Herbal warming pain relief gel. It is made by Pure Valley, and it is a natural remedy, filled with natural ingredients to soothe and ease the areas where the pain is felt. It has Glucosamine, building block of healthy cartilages and MSM; methylsulfonylmethane (METH-əl-sul-FON-il-METH-ane) provides sulfur, a vital building block of joints, and cartilage. They team up with Capsaicin, derived from hot peppers. Capsaicin is an effective pain relieving topical analgesic that provides a gentle warming sensation when applied to affected areas.

The rejuvenating herbal properties of Ginkgo Biloba and Ginseng Root combine with soothing extracts of Alfalfa and Lemongrass, infused with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, to provide nourishment to the skin.

This should only be used by people over 18, (Not advised for children), and should only be applied in a thin layer, up to 3-4 times daily. But please be careful after applying to wash your hands. And keep away from delicate parts! I could tell you a funny story about that, but that is better left up to your imagination!

I even used this when I tore my ACL, it would warm up nicely and ease the pain and the stiffness. And remember with the capsaicin when you take a shower or a bath, the warm water will heat it up more! But I have found together these are wonderful properties for an awesome product! And it is odorless, greaseless, stainless, providing a temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles, joints associated with arthritis, simple backache, strains, sprains and bruises.

I highly recommend this product, for I found that the natural products are so much better in the long-run.

      Greetings Linda,

I am sure you could get that in the UK. And if not, there is always the internet. It really is a good product, and the only one I have found so far that helps! I know what you mean about advertisements, I do not like them either. SO thank you for your nice compliments, I like to share what I have found that works with other people! Just as I look for things that people have used that they find works.

      Blessings,

      Laurie

I wonder if I could get that here in the UK. I use a glucosamine gel, which works a little, but it would be good to find something that works completely. I only have a painful wrist - mostly from writing I suppose. Glad that this eases your pain :)

This is a beautifully written hub - I don't like reading reviews, because they can be so dull, and often read like an advertisement. I don't like being 'sold to'. But this is just like a tip being passed around between friends. Lovely :)

      Linda.

@Sureal-I have been trying to get into the herbal medicine more and more, due to I find it a better alternative for me. And none of the over the counters medicines seemed to work. So I have been researching other methods as well. Thank you for stopping by.

      Blessings,

      Laurie

@Poohgranma-Thank you Dear Lady! And yes please do tell her, it works amazing! It is one of the best products I have found that you can buy, and no drug effects.
