Fucoidan’s Cancer Fighting Power

Fucoidan is not a cure for cancer, but science has shown that it can be effective in lowering the risk for cancer and bolstering immunity against the disease if it does develop. Fucoidan’s powerful anti-cancer properties have been found effective against several cell lines, especially lung and breast cancer, in a number of scientific investigations. French researchers have focused on limu’s production of interleukin and interferon, two potent immune enhancers, and suggest this may be why it is such a potent anti-tumor agent.

Researchers Have Discovered that Fucoidan:

Inhibits tumor cell adhesion and colonization so they cannot attach to healthy cells or grow. (Source: S. Soeda et al; Roszkowski et al.)

Prevents metastis (Source: H. Itoh et al.)

Promotes anti-angiogenesis, which stops tumors from making new blood vessels and thus growing (Source: G. Zugmaier et al.)

Bolsters the immune system (Source: E.A. Sweeney et al.; S.D. Somers et al.; I.Sugawara et al.; V. Ooi et al.)

The Harvard Study (Breast Cancer Study):

A study from Harvard School of Public Health indicates that limu’s fucoidan may specifically reduce the risk of breast cancer by: - Reducing plasma cholesterol (reducing cancer risk) – Inhibiting binding of toxic steroids to breast tissue – Halting the transformation of phospholipids to carcinogens – Preventing build-up of carcinogenic flora in bowel – Protecting against toxins/pollutants – Supplying trace minerals, which protect breast tissue

Cancer Treatment – Fucoidan’s Help

Surgery – Often the first step in cancer treatment is to remove the tumor surgically. Researchers in Canada, Turkey, Poland and France have demonstrated that FUCOIDAN boosts would recovery. Radiation Therapy – Focused beams of radiation targeting the cancerous area is another way to fight cancer. While often very effective, radiation can reduce the number of lymphocytes, which weakens the body’s ability to fight infection. FUCOIDAN boosts the immune system to help the body fight infection. Immunotherapy – Using the body’s own immune system to fight cancer is forming the basis for some of the latest cancer treatments. FUCOIDAN’S ability to stimulate the immune system has been proven in studies throughout the world. Take a Proactive Stance Against Cancer – Enjoy a Nutritious Diet – including Limu. – Avoid Smoking – Maintain a Healthy Weight through Diet and Exercise – Consume Alcohol in moderation – Wear sunscreen – Avoid Exposure to Pollutants and Toxins.

Limu and Fucoidan – Limu is brown seaweed hailed by the natives along the South Pacific coast of Tonga as an essential part of their health. In fact, the Tongans have long regarded limu ass a treasure from the sea for over 3,000 years! Science is now finding out why – limu’s fucoidan. DID YOU KNOW? Limu retains minerals and nutrients from the sea in colloidal form. COLLOIDAL means the vitamins and minerals are suspended in liquid, making them easily absorbed and quickly utilized by the human body. The average Western diet is critically deficient in many naturally-occurring vitamins and minerals reducing the optimal functioning of the body’s organs and immune system. Our ability to recover from illness and disease is also undermined by our inadequate diet. Limu helps fill these nutritional gaps and is important remedy for wellness.

Reduce Your Cancer Risk – Myth: Cancer is often thought of as a genetic disease, it is not. A nutrient deficient diet ranks only second to cigarette smoking as a PREVENTABLE cause of the disease. This is good news! It means that the choices we make, especially in what we eat, can help substantially lower the risk of cancer.

More Good News: There is a nutrient that has caught researchers’ attention and their scrutiny. Research has shown that limu can:

Super Nutrient – FUCOIDAN

This antioxidant-rich complex carbohydrate polysaccharide has shown that it can be effective in lowering your risk of cancer and bolstering your immunity against the disease. Fucoidan is the main ingredient found in limu and has been the subject of more than 650 studies. And best of all, every bit of the information was gathered by independent unsolicited, third party research.

Polysaccharides are complex carbohydrates that research has found to have many therapeutic properties, including the ability to modulate the body’s natural immunity, specifically macrophage function (large white cells that go into action when the body is invaded by an infection or disease). Limu from Tonga is harvested in a special careful professional manner and other brown seaweeds from around the world are not harvested with the exact same care. Check out Christofer's new website at:

seekinamerica234. I wish the best for you. Cancer is incredibly difficult and no one should promise success for degrees of treatment. However, diets and supplements, early in life, are shown to be beneficial to cancer prevention. I wish the best for you. This article is not intended to give anyone false hope.

On June 26TH, 2008, I (Patty Tyler) had a colonoscopy and was diagnosed with colon cancer. When I was laying on the hospital bed, I looked over at my husband and his head had drop to the floor. I ask my husband if they had found colon cancer? After I was diagnosed, my world fell apart and I prayed like I had never prayed before. I wasn’t praying for me, but more for the ones I loved and knew I would leave behind. After a horrific battle with colon cancer, I thought I had put all this behind me and my family. Then in July of 2011, my world was once again’ “shock worse than ever”. After going through all the test, I can not begin to explain how draining, emotionally and the physically those test where. I was thinking the worst was over, because for 3 years, I was diagnosed cancer free. Then my lung doctor called on; August 25TH 2011 and told me that he had to see me, to talk about my test results. I ask him was the cancer back? The doctor replied, I need to talk to you about it and I rushed down to see him. I was worried that the cancer had resurfaced, however, I had no ideal I was going to face this demon. After talking to the doctor (Dr. Wood) he told me that I had cancer, which came from my colon, so I ask him; “Was it treatable?” Dr. Wood said; “Yes, it was treatable.” So Dr. Wood made me an appointment with Dr. Wright on; September 12TH, 2011, and I had in my mind that I was going to be alright. Even though, I wanted to know how big a bear, I had to fight. I went and seen Dr. Wright and he stated that I have colon-rectal, that has moved to my lung and that it was stage 4 cancer. Dr. Wright said; “It was treatable but not curable, that I had 24 months with chemo to live, or 18 months without chemo, ir round about that much time. I looked at him and said, “How can this BE”, I had blood test a few months ago, that said I was cancer free.” He said; “That is the type of cancer you have, that it hides and then moves to another place. He stated that; “The kind you have goes upward, your brain and your bones will be next, we can get it to go to sleep with chemo, but be sure of one thing; “It will wake back up, with vengeance.” I do not know about you, but I did not like his odds. When Kathy told me about “LIMU” I knew “God” had sent me a sign to help me, in my time of need. I started taking “LIMU” January 8TH 2012, and I take 4oz. 3 times a day and I am feeling stronger, and I feel that there is hope. I am not trying to sell anyone false hope, this is true and I just want to live…A-Man.

Fucoidan is not mushed up seaweed. Fucoidan is a refined concentated extract.
