Coconut Oil Is All You'll Ever Need

Updated on July 27, 2015

Coconuts don't get the recognition they deserve. They are one of the most versatile foods in the world, being that they can be used in practically every meal. But this article isnt just about meals; it is also about using it as a healthy substitute for other foods as well as a means of keeping a clean, healthy and happy home. This article in particular is about the health benefits of coconut oil. Vegetable oil is the most popular, not to mention the most common cooking oil on the market. But it is also the most unhealthy. What if there was a healthy substitute you could use to cut calories, reinvigorate your metabolism and also feel much better? There is! Coconut oil is lower in fat, lower in calories and also makes your food taste so much better. Thats just the beginning. When it gets into your system, it works to actively fight off infections and any bad bacteria or microbes that may be there in conjunction with your own immue system. You may call it the orginal antbiotic. People have been using this stuff for thousands of years. Vegetable oil is just a medium to fry your food, and most of the time will burn it due to instability in the lipids. But coconut oil is so much more than just a food medium. It is a cleanse, a moisturizer, an antibiotic, etc.

I would like to take this time to point out a few key facts about coconut oil and how it will change your life.

Used as a lotion substitute, it will keep your skin looking and feeling healthy, bright and soft.
Used as a cleanser, you won't have to worry about introducing harsh chemicals to your children, because its good on us, but hard on germs.
It works with the thyroid to improve your hormonal balance, leaving you feeling happy and healthy.
It will give you a caffeine-like boost without the crash or headaches that follow caffeine consumption.
Coconut oil is a great antioxidant and anti-inflamatory. Consuming this super food will aid in the absorption of vital nutrients, vitamins and amino acids.
There has been lots of evidence that coconut oil can prevent and even reverse the effect of Altzheimer's Disease, with regular consumption. This article may sound a lot like the promotion of coconut oil, but in fact I am just trying to get the word out about how amazing this stuff is. But remember, you must always do your own research. Thank you for giving this article a read. Now go out and get some of this amazing oil at your local supermarket.
