The ingredients come as follows:

- 1 cup coarse sea salt

- 1 cup Epsom salts

- 1/2 cup baking soda

- 1/2 cup dried herbs, ground fine in a blender.

The candidates for the dried herbs are:

- Chamomile.

- Lavender.

- Lemon verbena.

- Mint.

- Rosemary.

- Few drops of different essential oils may be added.

Mix all these components in a bowl and then stir until they combine well. Place the salt mixture in decorative jars. Adding a small spoon and a label with instructions to use about 1D4 cup per bath and components included would make your gift looks perfect.

Very Important: The use of bath salts is not recommended for pregnant women, people with diabetes, or people with high blood pressure.

Another alternative for the salt bath is the bath sachets. It is having a magical tea bag for your bath that will really make a great difference. The dried herbs like before would include chamomile, lavender, lemon balm, lemon verbena, mint, rose, and/or rosemary. The dried herb mixture would be used as follows:

- 1 cup dried herbs.

- 1 cup rolled oats.

- 1/2 cup powdered milk.

Place a few tablespoons of the mixture in small muslin bags; you can make your handmade bags in case you can't find them.
