Who would I want for my personal weight loss coach? Let's see – Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba, Candice Swanepoel – well, this list of beauties would certainly motivate me to drop a few pounds, but none of them are personal weight loss coaches, and if they were, I doubt I could afford any of them!

But, as a personal weight loss coach, you need to find out what your clients are seeking if you want to attract and retain clients, and stay in business. Of course, you can't provide them with supermodels or sexy actresses, but you can usually provide them with what they need.

What do Your Personal Weight Loss Coach Clients Want and Need?

To be a successful coach, you have to find out what potential clients want and need, and then you have to figure out ways to help them attain the outcomes they seek. A great way to do this is to create a fictional person called, “My Personal Weight Loss Coach.”

There are two great ways to determine what your clients want and need to be successful at shedding unwanted pounds – and they are both very easy!

Peruse the Internet, talk to friends and family, and read some books to find about all you can about weight loss. Write it down and use the information to get started. Continuing education will help you keep up with the industry, but to keep up with what your clients want, you need to do one simple thing – ask them!
