I found the purpose of my existence, and also the purpose of my circumstance. There's a purpose for why you're in the fire.

Take a look at the smile in his face, amazing, right?

Nick Vujicic, Motivator

Imagine being born without arms. No arms to wrap around someone, no hands to experience touch, or to hold another hand with. Or what about being born without legs? Having no ability to dance, walk, run, or even stand on two feet. Now put both of those scenarios together: no arms and no legs. What would you do? How would that effect your everyday life?

His name is Nick Vujicic. Born in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia, he was born with no arms and legs. Throughout his childhood Nick dealt not only with the typical challenges of school and adolescence such as bullying and self-esteem issues; he also struggled with depression and loneliness as he questioned why he was different to all the other kids surrounding him; why he was the one born without arms and legs.

As Nick grew up he learnt to deal with his disability and started to be able to do more and more things on his own. He adapted to his situation and found ways to accomplish tasks that most people could only do by using their limbs, such as cleaning teeth, brushing hair, typing on a computer, swimming, playing sports, and much more. As time went by Nick began to embrace his situation and achieve greater things. In grade seven Nick was elected captain of his school and worked with the student council there on various fund-raising events for local charities and disability campaigns.

After school Nick went on with further study and obtained a double bachelor degree majoring in accounting and financial planning. By the age of 19 Nick started to fulfil his dream of being able to encourage other people and bring them hope, through motivational speaking and telling his story.

“I found the purpose of my existence, and also the purpose of my circumstance. There's a purpose for why you're in the fire.” Nick wholeheartedly believes that there is a purpose in each of the struggles we encounter in our lives and that our attitude towards those struggles that can be the single most effective factor in overcoming them.

In 2005 Nick was nominated for the "Young Australian of the Year" Award, which is a large honor in Australia, recognizing a young person for their excellence and service to their local community and the nation, as well as their own personal accomplishments. Nominations for this award are only given to truly inspirational people.

Now at 25 years old Nick has accomplished more than most people even twice his age. Nick recently made the massive move from Brisbane, Australia to California, USA, where he is the president of an international non-profit organization, and also has his own motivational speaking company; Attitude Is Altitude. Since his first motivational speaking engagement back when he was 19, Nick has traveled around the world, sharing his story with millions of people, speaking to a range of different groups such as students, teachers, youth, business men and women, entrepreneurs, and church congregations of all sizes. He has also told his story and been interviewed on various televised programs worldwide. However, Nick's speaking engagements have gone beyond purely motivational speaking, he has had the opportunity to speak with several leaders, including the vice president of Kenya. This year alone Nick is set to speak in over 20 countries.

How does Nick Vujicic feel about his disability now? He accepts it, embraces it and oftentimes pokes fun at his own circumstance as he shows off his many tricks. He meets challenges with his special blend of humor, perseverance and faith always encouraging those around him to examine their perspective as they develop and define their vision. Using those new definitions he challenges each person he meets to make changes in their lives so that they can begin the path to fulfilling their biggest dreams. Through his amazing ability to connect with people from all walks of life and his incredible sense of humor that captivates children, teens and adults alike, Nick is a truly inspirational motivational speaker.

David Pelzer

Dave Pelzer,writer

Dave James Pelzer (born December 29, 1960 in Daly City, California) is an American Author, best known for his memoir of childhood abuse, “A Child Called It”. He wrote his memoir in 5 books, A child Called It (1995), The Lost Boy (1997) and A Man Named Dave (1999), My Story (2002) and The Privilege of Youth (2004).He also wrote 2 self-help book, Help Yourself (2001) and Help Yourself For Teens (2005).

The story A Child Called "It," by David Pelzer is one of the most astonishing chronicles about his survival through child abuse. The biography is viewed through the child's eyes for the purpose to help others heal from traumatic pasts. The story of David Pelzer's childhood is imperative to be available to readers because of the life lessons the book bestow and the quality of Pelzer's compelling writing.

A Child Called "It" is basically about one child's courage to survive. During the 1970's, Pelzer's child abuse was recorded to be the third most severe in the state of California. He endured both physical and mental cruelty to his emotionally unstable, alcoholic mother, Catherine Roerva. David Pelzer was brutally beaten, starved, and tortured so much that she no longer considered him a son or a boy, but just "it." Later in the other book, Pelzer told story about how he able to escape from all impacts from abused and become fine young man, and successful one.

The book itself is really heart-breaking story to read, and thinking back that he was just a child at that time, it is hard to not get emotional by reading it. Pelzer wrote in his book that as a child he was continually abused, mistreated, and beaten by his mother, who thought of it as a game. The book documents how his mother starved him, forced him to drink ammonia, stabbed him in the stomach and forced him to eat his own vomit. His teachers stepped in on March 5, 1973 and 12-year-old Pelzer was placed in foster care. In 1979, he joined the Air Force and later became an author. I cried a lot while read all three of his memoir but, well, I just like a broken pipe who so easy to cry so maybe it will give different effect to you. :) For you who not yet read these books, I challenge you to read "The Child Called "It"" and let's cry together.

These books are big accomplisment for for Dave Pelzer. and because of this he had rewarded by:

§ JC Pen Golden Rule Award (1990)

§ California Volunteer Of The Year (1991)

§ Ten Outstanding Young American (1993)

§ Ten Outstanding Young Person Of The World (1994) and

§ National Jefferson Award (2005)

Amazing, right, how he able to turned his unfortunate became great accomplishment in his life?

Those men above already through worst in their life because their different circumstances brought the same result for them; misery. But they fought it and walked through it, to become wonderful human; full of self achievement and managed to have not just so-so life, but great life. How they managed to accomplished that really amazing. But there is another story I want to show you all. Story that I found in my journey browsing internet. Story about a girl named Bar’ah.

Bar'ah Voice When She Pray for Her Parents and Sing While She Still in Great Pain

The Little Girl Named Bar'ah

This is story of a little girl named Bar`ah who is 10 years old, her parents were doctors who moved to Saudi Arabia in search of better life. Bar’ah known as very intelligent child. Her teacher told her parents that Bar’ah should jump to middle school than staying in the Elementary School. At this age she already able to memorized the whole Quran with tajweed.

One day suddenly, the mother started feeling sever abdominal pain and after tests and checkups she found out that she has cancer, but in its late stages. The mother thought she should tell her daughter, specially if she wakes up one day and didn't find her mother beside her... so she told her: "Bar`ah I will go to paradise ahead of you, but I want you to read the Quran you memorized every day since it will protect you in this life..."

The little girl didn't really understand what her mother was trying to tell her... but she started feeling the change in her mother's status, especially when she was transferred to stay in hospital on a permanent bases. The little girl use to come to the hospital after her school and recite the Quran for her mother till the evening when her father used to take her home.

One day the hospital called the husband and informed him that the his wife's condition was very bad and he needed to come as fast as he can, so the father picked Bar`ah from her school and headed to the hospital, when they arrived he asked her to stay in the car... so that she wouldn't get shocked if her mother passed away. The father got out of his car, with tears filled in his eyes and while crossing the road to enter the hospital, he was hit by a speeding car and died in front of his daughter who came crying to her father!

The tragedy of Bar`ah is not over yet. The news of her father's death was hidden from the mother, but after 5 days the mother passed away leaving Bar`ah alone in this life. She become alone without her parents, and her parents' friends decided to find her relatives in Egypt so that they can take care of her.

Suddenly, Bar`ah started having sever pain like her mother, after a few tests and checkups it was confirmed it was cancer. At the surprise of every one she said: "Alhamdu Lillah, now I will meet my parents." All of the family friends were shocked and surprised, this little girl being faced with calamity after calamity and she is patient and satisfied with what Allah ordained for her!

People started hearing about Bar`ah and her story, and a Saudi decided to take care of her. They sent her to the UK for treatment of this disease. But even she got the best treatment they could give her, the cancer already spread all over her body. The Doctors decided to amputate her legs, and she cope with this very well, unbelievably patient. Then after a few days the Cancer spread to her brain, upon which doctors decided for another urgent brain surgery. At the time when I found this story it’s told that Bar’ah already fall in Coma but the owner of the You Tube video said that she is in good health today, Thanks for God Almighty for His mercy and love.

Be Brave to Conquer Life, Be Patient to See the Result, Be Positive and Always Full of Love

Dear Readers, after read those above, do you still thinking that you are unfortunate? Several of you maybe will answer that you still thinking you are unfortunate because you have different case and different circumstance from those people above, which made you not able to walk through your problems like what they already did, but didn’t you know that we all have our own problem because we are all different? We have different reaction on many things because our experiences which combined with our personality had made us become unique individual and that affected our reaction about something which maybe different with other. So, it is not differences which important to make sure that we will able or not to walk through this life with head up; but it is our bravery.

Life is suck. Probation wait in every corner of our life and it will never stop because this is what life is, a place for probation. We need to be strong to be able to encounters all problems we have in daily. We need to be trust in God and his mercy so we can move on through our life with hopes. We need to be wise and patient, to be able to face the pain and misery, and the running world around us. We need to be loves each other and caring to everyone we related to or to those around us, to be able to get that love back to us. Don’t fall down because life tempting you to. Don’t give up because it seem like there is no way out. Reach for help if you need to and don’t ever forget about God. Reach His help because He is the only one who able to make your pain disappear. I am so thankful that an angel in my earlier life as a boy came to my rescue from my abused homelife, I was one of the lucky survivors. God spared me and brought an angel into my life, like a father I never had and this man changed my life for the better. I have seen Nicks videos a few times and they always will bring a tear to my eye, he is a miracle for many of us. We must always remember that there are worst people off than ourselves and thank God for his mercy. Allah bless you.
