Updated on August 8, 2015

It should be noted that there are no miracle pills that will make the fat disappear overnight you must have a realistic expectation or you run the risk of setting yourself up for disappointment.

Stay Away From White Carbs

There are some carbohydrates that are bad for your body and a few examples of these are pasta, white bread and potatoes. These carbohydrates are make the sugar in your blood spike very fast then crash and when this happens you will feel very hungry. This "hunger" will make you feel hungry so you eat more calories than what you need to. Another consequence of these "white carbs" is since they are digested fast they usually turn into fat around your belly instead of being burned off throughout the course of the day.

Have 6 Mini-Meals Instead Of 3 Larger Meals

Most of us were raised with the concept of 3 square meals per day which may not work in our best interest. Instead of eating these 3 meals you should have 6 mini-meals that are consumed throughout the day. By giving your body a consistent flow of food it will have a stable supply of energy which reduces your chances of binging greatly. Something that you need to do is make sure the calories come from all the major food groups and are balanced otherwise you will end up gaining weight instead of losing it.

Don't Forget the H20

The body requires water yes good old fashion H20 to function properly and without it your body will not be able to function properly. This water is used to flush away toxins and help your body lose weight. The general consensus is to get 8 glasses of water per day but this number varies depending on the total amount of exercise you get in the course of a day and how much you sweat.

Leave Room for Treats

Your diet needs to have room for treats or it won't last. Instead of overindulging though what you need to do is look for heathy substitutes instead of milk chocolate what you need to do is use dark chocolate which should give your body the anti-oxidants it needs to function properly.

Understanding the Role Exercise Plays in Your Diet

A diet will not work without exercise and this is a component that most people overlook. What you need to do is exercise a minimum of 30 minutes per day 3 times a week but preferably more than that. The more exercise you get the more calories you will burn off which is what you want. You should incorporate a balance of resistance and aerobic exercises to get the best possible results. By following these suggestions you will be able to lose weight off your belly fast and keep it off.
