Dukan Diet Recipes - Beef and Other Meat Recipes

Dukan Diet Recipes - Beef Kebabs
The meat which is allowed on the Dukan Diet is lean beef and lean ham. Due to the higher fat content other pork products are not permitted and neither is lamb. The omission of lamb is a disappointment to me as I love lamb. However fortunately I'm also very partial to beef and ham and these are very versatile ingredients so there is absolutely no excuse for your meal times to be boring just because you are on a diet.

- Fried Eggs with Sliced Ham
- Ham and Egg Omelette
14oz Beef fillet, cut into large cubes
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp cider vinegar
A little thyme and 1 bay leaf
Dash of vegetable oil
¼ cup fresh lemon juice.
Mix all the ingredients together and marinate the beef for 2 to 4 hours in the refrigerator. Discard the marinade.
Place the chunks of beef on the skewers Grill until cooked to your liking.
During the second phase or cruise phase you can add tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and onions.
Remember if you use wooden skewers, you have to soak them in water first to prevent them from burning.
Dukan Diet Recipes - Meatloaf
2lbs lean ground/minced beef
1 finely chopped onion
2 eggs, beaten
4 tablespoons non-fat fromage frais or yoghurt
2 sliced hard boiled eggs
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4
Carefully mix the onion, eggs (not the hard boiled ones), fromage frais/yoghurt into the beef and season
Very lightly oil or spray a 2lb bread tin and dust with wheat branflour.
Add half the mix to the tin and level
Place a row of the sliced hard bolied eggs on top.
Add the remaining mix level off again
Bake for one hour
Empty out of the tin and leave to cool before slicing.
Dukan Diet Recipe - Peppercorn Steak
How you well cook your steak is a matter of personal choice but even on the Dukan Diet you don't have to have it plain.
The easiest seasoning is to cover the steak with freshly ground pepper before dry frying or grilling.
A couple of other alternatives are to cover the steak with Dijon mustard or a bouillon cube.
If you are on a day when vegetables are permitted, try dry frying some finely sliced onions, add your steak seasoned both sides with freshly ground pepper and cook until done to your liking. Remove the steak from the pan and add a tablespoon of low fat yoghurt to the onions and juices and serve on top of your steak.
2lbs ground/minced beef
1 large onion coarsely grated
1 clove garlic finely chopped
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Place the beef in a bowl together with the coarsely grated onion and finely chopped garlic, add the salt and pepper.
Mix until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Beat the eggs in another bowl and then add them to the other ingredients and stir the eggs into the mixture thoroughly.
Make your burgers by taking a handful of the mixture, roll it into a ball in the palm of your hand, and squash it flat to make a burger about 2cm thick.
Grill the burgers or fry in a non stick frying pan making sure that they are cooked all the way through and serve with plain yoghurt.
If you don't need to feed four people reduce the quantities of the ingredients or freeze the excess uncooked. Don't forget to defrost the burgers thoroughly before cooking.
Dukan Diet Recipe - Luc Luc Beef
Luc Luc Beef
14 oz Beef fillet cut into thin strips
1 large onion finely sliced (omit for protein only days)
1/4 cup Soy sauce
1/4 cup Oyster sauce
1" cube of ginger,finely chopped
2 crushed garlic cloves
Freshly ground black pepper (no salt needed)
Make a marinade by mixing the soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger, pepper and garlic together in a bowl.
Add the slices of beef and leave for about one hour.
Dry fry onions until soft and add beef strips and cook together until finished.
4 large eggs
6 slices of lean ham, chopped into small pieces
200ml skimmed milk
400g fromage frais
Nutmeg, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Mix the milk and cornflour together
Separate the eggs
Beat the egg yolks together with the fromage frais
Add the eggs and fromage frais to the milk and cornflour and stir until thick.
Add the ham and seasoning.
Beat the egg whites and fold into the mixture.
Bake at 220ºC/200ºC fan/Gas 7 in a non-stick soufflé dish for 45 minutes.
Fried Eggs with Sliced Ham
2-3 slices of lean ham
Sea Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Cut the ham slices into squares.
Break the eggs into a bowl (do not break the yolks) and add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the eggs into a heated non stick frying pan and scatter the ham pieces over the egg whites.
This is really an omelette where you don't beat the eggs and get to have your egg yolks runny.

Ham and Egg Omelette
Follow the recipe above except you beat the eggs before adding the ham!
You can ring the changes by adding cheese or on the days that you are allowed vegetables add tomatoes or mushrooms.
