E.F.T.- emotional freedom technique

Updated on September 6, 2014

What is Emotional Freedom Technique?

No, it doesn't stand for extra farout terrestrial. E.F.T. stands for emotional freedom technique. It really works. I have done it and had miraculous results. It will actually shift issues in your life, bring physical health, heal illness and so much more.

Here is a website to learn this technique Emofree

EFT is based on a new discovery regarding the body's subtle energies. Simply stated, it is an emotional version of acupuncture, except needles aren't necessary. Instead, you stimulate well established energy meridian points on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips. The process is easy to memorize and is portable so you can do it anywhere. It launches off the EFT Discovery Statement which says...

"The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system."

And because our physical pains and diseases often appear to be connected with our emotions the following statement has also shown merit...

"Our unresolved negative emotions are major contributors to most physical pains and diseases."

This common sense approach draws its power from (1) time-honored Eastern discoveries that have been

How does it work?

It works by unblocking the energy in your body that has been blocked by the issues that have accumulated in your life. When you tap you clear those issues by unblocking the blockages that occur in the meridians that run through the body such as in accupuncture.

Go here for where to tap on your body to clear up any issues: How to do it

My friend Bob has a great and easy link on his website that you can refer to for doing E.F.T.

Any issue you think of can be cleared up using E.F.T.

I do it almost daily on whatever issues I can think of and it does work.

Some examples of issues you might want to do it for are:

*increase your wealth

*self worth

*lose weight

*be more creative

*allow support in your life

*love yourself more

*speaking up

*healing hurt feelings

*healing feelings of anger

*healing any issue you can think

I do mine in a very simple form. An example is:

Even though I do not feel worthy of success I now know I am worthy and I love, forgive and accept myself.

Even though I feel a pain in my heart when so and so said those hurtful words I know that it is not personal and I love, forgive and accept myself.

You may need to do it the next day again if you still feel the issue is not clear and think of different ways that the issue might be there. I even tapped issues out surrounding money that I knew were my grandad's issues. Tapping family members issues as your own can be very beneficial, who knows you might be carrying the same view in your subconscious.

I believe that we are responsible for how we feel. No one else can fix how we feel. It is up to us to heal how we deal with issues. E.F.T. is one of the most awesome and easiest ways to do just that. Clear up your own issues.

You can Heal Your Life

I have and love this book. It is a must have. Louise Hay's book has been one I have had for a long time. It lists different illnesses and diseases and tells you the emotional cause.

The EFT Manual (Everyday EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques)
The EFT Manual (Everyday EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques)

This is the print version of the Official Manual for Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT. It is one of the most successful psychology self-help manuals ever published EFT is a remarkable new technique which uses the body's natural stress-reduction points. When organized into the EFT "basic recipe," self-stimulation of these points by toucing or tapping has been demonstrated to rapidly reduce anxiety, depression, phobias and other conditions. EFT originator Gary Graig takes the reader through the basic steps of identifying the emotional roots of their problems, and crafting a combination of words that will trigger a healing response. He then demonstrates the one-minute healing routine that is the basis of EFT. He discusses the ways in which EFT can be applied to a variety of common conditions, including pain, fears, addictions and cravings, weight issues, insomnia and guilt.

Healing by itself would not be half as effective if the underlying patterns which caused my clients' various condition were not first addressed through using such an effective tool as EFT.

I use EFT and other practices regularly. I have no doubts about its power and ability to help. It is unfortunate that people too often look at this as hocus pocus without giving it a try The only scoffers are those who haven't explored the method. Great lens.
