Acne is a problem that is experienced by teenagers and at times even adults. It is actually considered a skin disease that practically everyone experiences at least once in his or her lifetime. You may find it strange, but another effective remedy for this condition is oatmeal.  Simply mix cooked oatmeal with honey and apply this to the affected areas so that it will absorb the excess oil that blocks the pores.  Let the oatmeal cool first before applying it to any part of your body so that you don't burn yourself.  Again, for this to work, you will have to do it frequently. 

Preparing a baking soda mask is also another way to treat acne. This ingredient helps eliminate excess oil and heals blemishes. Mix baking soda with a bit of water until you form a paste like mixture. Apply this onto the face for about 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. After rinsing, apply a moisturizer to ensure that your skin doesn't get dry. Repeat this ritual daily until pimples disappear.
