What Is A Paleo Diet

A Paleo diet is an amazing way to put together common low-cost and nutritious foods into fabulous healthy meals. Paleo diets have been scientifically proven to increase fat burning, increase energy, and improved health. Sadly, even though the united states is the top producer of food in the world, it is more expensive to buy fresh fruits and vegetables for you and your family to eat. While at the same time junk food places such as Mc Donalds, Wendy's, and Pizza hut make a killing while killing us in the process. In this day an age it is far more important to take care of ourselves the best we can along with exercise we must learn to eat better to increase life expancity and vitality.

Salmon with Pineapple Mango Salsa total time: 20 minutes

This tasty meal will keep the fat off by raising your metabolism, increase thinking and lean muscle growth. While filling you up at the say time.

Salmon:

Salmon fillets

Extra virgin olive oil

Half a clove garlic, diced

Natural sea salt -(salt to taste)

Coarse pepper-(pepper to taste)

Crushed red pepper -(to taste)

Lemon pepper-(used to taste)


Pineapple, mango salsa:

Items needed:

2 mangoes pitted and diced small.

4 tablespoons of diced red onion

3 to 4 tablespoons chopped cilantro.

1.5 tablespoons of lemon juice

1/2 tablespoons of crushed red pepper.

1 very small can of pineapple.


Instructions:

*note: while your seasoning the salmon and preheat the oven to 350°C.

When you're finished seasoning use a little olive oil to coat the pan that you plan on cooking the salmon in. Place salmon in the oven switched ovens of broiler for 15 minutes or until it reaches desired consist.

Let's make the salsa.

Next, make all the contents of the bowl. Then when the salmon is complete or finish cooking for over salmon and add a small salad. Bon appétit!!

Vitamin Packed Beef stew (Paleo) Cook Time: 2 hours

This hearty and so tasty soup is to die for. Especially in the winter months, something warm, healthy and vitiman packed can really boost your immune system. Keeping your health up when you need it the most. Please remember all of these recipes can be switched up the key is to think healthy when you purchase your items.

Ingredients:

3-4 pounds of cheap beef cubes

1 large onion, diced

4 tablespoons of olive oil

1 tablespoon sea salt

1 tablespoon coarse black pepper

2 tablespoons of gluten-free Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cups fresh Portobello mushrooms, sliced.

1/2 cup of cilantro, chopped

1 large clove of garlic, diced finely

1 cup of red wine.

1/4 tablespoons of fennel seeds.

1 refresh sprigs of thyme, chopped.

2 celery sticks, diced.

2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced.

2 tablespoons rice flour.

1 tablespoon of butter.

1 liter of good-quality, low-sodium beef stock.

2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced.

3 tablespoons of white vinegar.

1/2 pack of stews seasoning.

2 tablespoons of thick heavy cream.

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a heavy pot and saute onions until they caramelize, add seasoning to taste.
  2. Add beef cubes and let them brown, for 5 minutes. Add white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, chopped garlic, red wine, stock, thyme, rosemary, and fennel seeds, Pour in the stock, stir and bring to boil.
  3. Allow to cook with a lid on, with very low heat, for an 1 hour 15 minutes.
  4. Next, add carrots, celery, potatoes, mushrooms place the top back on and allow to cook for 15 minutes.
  5. Then, remove the lid and simmer with medium heat for 15 minutes.
  6. Then, add half a packet of the stew seasoning and cup of Rice flour together. Then add to the beef and stir, it will start to thicken.
  7. Lastly, add butter and cream and allow to cook for an additional 5-10 minutes with no lid.

Roasted Italian Chicken Paleo Style Cook Time: 20 minutes

Adapted from Cooking Light

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon of child fresh rosemary.

1 tablespoon of grated lemon rind

Half of a lemon's juice.

4 tablespoons of virgin olive oil.

1/2 tablespoons of fennel seeds crushed.

Coarse salt and pepper (to taste).

3 Chopped garlic cloves.

4 boneless chicken breast halves.

Coconut oil.


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°.

1. Mix all ingredients together.

2. Next, take a fork and poke holes in the chicken, then lightly coat chicken with oil.

3. Thoroughly rub mix into the breasts.

4. Finally, turn oven on at 400 on coat pan with olive oil pan. Place pan in oven and allow to cook for 40-45 min
