Embellished Maternity Tops

Embellished tops are one kind of fashion statement that you can feel great in during pregnancy. When your body is changing and you are not certain what to wear as your belly grows, wearing an embellished maternity top can make for a trendy ensemble that can keep you looking good.

I wore several embellished tops during pregnancy myself. I even took my pregnany portrait in one embellished top and wore another embellished top at the hospital after having the baby. Remember, that a top does not need to be labeled as a maternity top as long as it is very loose fitting. You can potentially wear a loose fitting embellished top right through to the 9th month of pregnancy and after, while your belly is returning to normal size.

Below is a short sleeve maternity trapeze shirt offered at Motherhood maternity store. The color is blackberry with metallic detailing as the neckline embellishment. This is a really pretty top and it has terrific customer ratings. It is currently priced at $19.99.

While not specifically marketed as a maternity top, the Isabel Stone embroidered tunic pictured below is offered at Dillard's and priced at $88. It is available in the color black and sizes small to large. The way it is cut should offer plenty of room for your growing belly for a while.
