Emotional Diversification

Updated on June 28, 2015

There is a numerous different types of people in regard to the extend in which they “live” their emotions. Two kind of people though take it to the extremes. Some people are extremely strong, and have the power of being independent and selfish when life requires it from them. Others, are emotionally dependent, letting their emotions leading their choices, forgetting who they really are and what they want from their self’s.

This article is reflecting the second group of people. Sometimes, people will adore you and wish they could be like that, other times they will simply judge you and call you weak. Having the specific lifestyle has nothing to do with power or weakness. It simply represents how many times you can fall and stand again. Living in such a way simply means that you are emotionally grown and ready to give everything for someone or something that you love. The trick though is to know when you love someone and not seek love in places where it does not exist. Over emotionally people tend to be in love with the idea of being in a perfect relationship rather than being in love with a person that can actually deliver a perfect relationship.

Doing so, can only lead to an unavoidable result. Sleepless nights, where your sole company are your thoughts, depressing music and the smoke of your cigarettes. Add some alcohol to that and realise that you have done something wrong. During such nights, through the smoke and dizziness an idea will come to your mind. Your inner voice will ask you to change. It will beg you to become stronger and selfish, forget everyone else, live for yourself and ignore your own nature. Well, there is really one choice here isn’t it? IGNORE that voice. You are that way not because you are weak, but because you are stronger than anybody else, it needs courage to allow yourself to give in again and again. It is not a habit, it is not a choice!!! It is not YOUR choice. It is your character, a pure and simple character that believes in humanity, stands for trust and represents any efforts to escape from reality.

At the end of the day, “strong” people will always be fine with themselves and this is a brilliant attribute worth of having and being proud of it. On the other hand emotionally driven people are able to enjoy the good moments of life. These people can endure the moment and feel emotions that are unknown to many others. People will wonder, does one moment like that worth all the drunken nights? Nights that you may hate yourself? Nights that you may end up crying with no absolute reason? Well one moment like that has a countless value over a million nights of pain!!!

We are all different, and that is the beauty of life. Whatever your lifestyle is you have nothing to be ashamed of. Just embrace who you are and life will take its path. Trust her for once, she knows better!!
