Eating Healthy, Essential Oils & Grass-Fed Meat & Homemade Freezer Meals!
Grass Fed Pigs
Healthy Eating & essential Oils
I’ve been reading a ton about eating healthy and essential oils and such.
My mind is spinning with all the cool information that I’ve been reading about, and I couldn’t wait to share it with all of you. I can’t wait to implement everything into our daily lives.
First, I wanted to give you the information so you can try it out along with me.
Infused water is my new favorite thing; to be exact Blueberry +Sage is my brand new beloved drink. I know what you’re thinking, that’s water! I know, right?! Who would have thought that I’d love it, but I do. If I like it, I’m guessing anyone would like it. I’m kind of picky!
I’ve been obsessed with do terra essential therapeutic oils. I can’t wait to make my own healthy recipes –soaps/shampoos/luxurious baths and more.

Oil Pulling with Coconut Oil
I’ve also started “oil Pulling” with Coconut oil in the morning, I swish it around in my mouth for about 20 minutes while I look after the pets who think they’re starving in the morning. Once done I spit it out in a can or bag because it will ruin your plumbing if you spit it out in the sink.
Then I gargle with salt water and last but not least brush my teeth. I then take a teaspoon of coconut oil and swallow it. My method is supposed to make my whole body healthy and the most important place to start is with your mouth where all the germs live.
You are supposed to do this before you eat anything in the morning. If doing it twice a day, then wait at least four hours after eating. This method is supposed to detox you so you will most likely feel sicker before you feel better while all the toxins get out of your body.
I’ve also started therapy and hope that I can improve my lower-back pain along with eating healthy and learn how to work out properly so I don’t make it worse.
Getting healthy isn’t about one thing it’s about all the little things that add up to you living your best life.
Homemade Freezer Meals! BRILLIANT!
I’m obsessed with cooking healthy as well, but it wasn’t until I came upon “Shabby Creek Cottage” blog that it all came together.
She wrote (Bless you Gina) a blog about creating freezer meals. Okay, I’m pretty sharp but I hadn’t thought of this at all.
I work from home and I honestly don’t have time to cook the healthy delicious meals I want to create everyday if I want to get my work done too.
We do a lot of fish it’s quick and easy but at the end of the day it’s not as “homey” of a meal as I want to bring to the table every night and plus it’s really hard to cook for two, unless we have friends and family over. This freezer meal idea is perfect as I can portion it out that fits us.
I’m going to working on ultra-healthy dinners and freeze them. I will use her grocery list to get me started and then tweak them when I make up new batches.
So let’s review – Working out at least 3 times a week. Drinking plenty of Blueberry + Sage water & will create freezer dinners to make life easier and make sure we are eating healthy.
Grain Fed Beef
YUM! Blueberry + Sage
I love nuts.com and plan on getting my usual Habanero Pistachios to snack on and I’m going to order my essential oils by do terra. I’m seriously thinking about signing up so I can get the stuff wholesale.
The money we’ll save not buying coke and crap will have more to buy healthy stuff and essential oils.
My husband and I have also talked about buying a grass-fed cow & pig and getting the meat. You can buy half a cow or pig if you want. You can go in on a cow with family and split the meat. It will probably be enough to last a year.
Grass-fed meat is the best meat to eat hands down. It will be healthier than buying processed meat at the grocery store. You can even eat the bacon (assuming you bought a pig that ate grain free-hormone free) and it won’t be harmful.
One last thing before I get some work done preparing for our new way of eating.
I love buying frozen fruit and veggies and I read you can freeze herbs too.
“You wash and pat dry and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Once they have frozen, place them in an airtight container and keep in the freezer until you’re ready to use them.” You can also place them in an inch of water and put them on your kitchen counters. They will last about a week. Placing them in the freezer will turn them black which reminds me I have sage in the fridge. See, you really do learn something new every day!
I’m off to make my blueberry+sage infused water. It’s really good if you leave it in the fridge overnight.
