I am a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful children who keep me very busy. I love technology, gardening, cooking, and personal finance.

Exercises That Get Rid Of Cellulite

After having two children within a two year span, I was determined to get my pre-baby body back.

I have been going to the gym regularly for the past twenty years, so I knew a bit about exercising and nutrition.

After the Doctor gave me the OK, I began to ease back into my workouts at the gym again.

At first it was hard because my children did not want to stay in the baby area in the gym (separation anxiety).

After my youngest was a year old, I was finally back to going to the gym 2-3 times a week.

I would normally do a half-hour of cardio and then a half-hour of weights (machines and free-weights).

I could see that my body shape was getting back to normal, but the cellulite would not go away. I asked myself "How can I get rid of cellulite?".

Lessons I Learned From A Personal Trainer About Getting Rid Of Cellulite

I was able to get an hour-long session with a trainer at the gym who helped me determine what exercises would work the best for me.

He told me that the number one, best exercise that I could do is the stair climber. That's it! It is that simple.

You can vary it by kicking your leg up behind you or to the back and side. You could take the steps two at a time.

The stair workout is similar to doing tons of mini-lunges. You could do wide steps. You could even go backwards up the steps as long as your holding onto the rails for safety.

If you have stairs at your house, try taking a few extra trips up and down the stairs each day. You could even run up the stairs.

Tips For Getting Rid Of Cellulite

Another tip is to squeeze your butt muscles while you are using the stairs or walking.

It engages the deeper muscles in the rear-area.

We ended up moving from a ranch to a three-story townhouse last year and I can tell a huge difference since we moved here.

Another tip is to eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water.

The water will flush most of the garbage out of your body that would otherwise sit in your hips and thighs and throughout the rest of your body.

Also, try not to sit still too long and stretch your muscles often.

Have The Cellulite Exercises Worked?

It has been 3 years since I had my youngest child.

This is the first year that I have seen no cellulite on my legs since I had kids.

I have followed all the tips above and I believe that that is why I am cellulite-free today!
