Reiki and eye care

Reiki is a Japanese art of healing method. Reiki (pronounced as ray-key) is an ancient healing system using universal energy. The word Reiki is a Japanese word made up of two words - Rei means essence of God and ki stands for vital life force energy. The universe is filled with this invisible life energy and life and health of all living beings is sustained by it.

The human body has visible physical body and an invisible auric body. The aura is distributed in seven layers and the outermost layer is the outer limit of the body. Through the healer, used as a channel, reiki reaches every part of the body and brings differing levels into a state of balance. Reiki practitioners believe that there is a link between the esthetic and physical bodies through chakras (energy centre) and endocrine systems. The universal energy is absorbed in the physical body and energizes it with prana through chakras. The word chakra is a sanskrit word, and Chakras are entry gates of the Aura. According to the traditional writings there are 88,000 chakras in the human body covering the whole body. The majority of them are small and insignificant. Forty of them have significant function and they are in the hands, feet, fingertips, and shoulders. In the past 3 decades, Reiki has become popular as a unique means of healing the mind, body and soul.

Reiki is a very effective holistic treatment for any eye problems. Reiki works on all energetic levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. According to Reiki, the cause for illness exists in one of these levels. As all the levels are interlinked, it is treated as a whole and treatment is targeted to provide true reiki healing by bringing back all levels into harmony.

Heal the eyeballs, inner and outer corners of eyes, and back brow chakra. During this time, you may also heal crown chakra, kidneys, liver, womb and ovaries in addition to the fore-mentioned points. Treat both eyes in all cases. Wearing an energised amethyst crystal specifically charged for healing the eyes, and drinking charged water also add to the effect.

How is reiki treatment done for eyes?

Reiki practitioners use reiki symbols to activate and enhance reiki energy flow. Reiki symbols are used during reiki sessions to 'connect' the client to the energy. For eye related problems, place your hands parallel to the right and left of the nose, from the forehead to the region of the top teeth. By using the symbols, better result is achieved.

Learning Reiki will help you to treat yourself and others not only with eye problems, but almost all types of health problems.
