Just To Be Happy
Living a happy and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also good for your health. Being happy actually protects you from some of the stresses of life. Stress has been linked to some of the top causes of death.
We have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. We may find ourselves in unbearable situations we can always find solace in the knowledge that it too could change.
Relationships are essential to happiness. People are different, accept people for who or what they are, avoid arguments, try to let go of resentments. If arguments seem unavoidable make an effort to understand the situation. You might just get along better with people once you understand their ideas and concepts.
Happiness can actually be found in everyone. Increasing your own happiness is one way to make your life more meaningful. Once you are happy with yourself you will begin to see those around you more happy.
To be happy is relatively easy, you have to decide to be a happy. The choice is simple really, choose to be happy. There are several ways by which you can do this.
Being grateful is a great start. We have so much to be thankful for sometimes we just neglect to say it. Thank your children for cleaning their room, it might not seem like it but they feel more appreciated when you acknowledge their small tasks. Thank your spouse for the wonderful dinner, day to day planning of family life can be hard and we all need those little appreciative moments. Also thank the clerk at the market, put a smile on another face even for a moment will carry over that happy feeling in others.
News can be stressful. try to get less of it. Some people start their day with their daily dose of news. Think about it, 99% of the news we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do.
Manage your time more. Time is invaluable and too important to waste. Your own personal time should never be ignored. We all have family time and personal time try to balance more of each into your day.
Laugh and laugh heartily each and everyday. When you hear a good joke share it with those around you. As they say -'Laughter is the best medicine' you never know when someone else needs a good dose of laughter.
Express your feelings, affections, friendship and passion with people around you. They will most likely reciprocate your actions. Try not to keep pent up anger and frustrations, this is bad for your health. Instead find ways of expressing them in a way that will not cause more repressions.
Working hard brings tremendous personal satisfaction. It gives us a feeling of being competent in finishing our tasks and goals. Accomplishments are necessary for all of us, they give us a sense of value. Work on things that you feel are worthy of your time.
Learning can be a joyful exercise. Try and learn something new everyday. Learning also helps to expand our mind and broaden our sense of accomplishments. It could also help to have more opportunities for our future in general.
Feel alive get out and have fun when the opportunity is there.
Avoid exposure to the negative when possible.
Remember you have to be happy with your self first and those around you will be happy with you. The feeling of happiness will be shared.
Happiness is what we make it live to be happy.
