Female killers

Updated on September 3, 2015

Why do we have a hard time thinking that women kill? Is it because They are supossed to be the gentler, nourishing, kinder sex.

Well, it doesn't work that way. women do kill. They kill for sexual pleasure. to please a boyfriend or husband for greed, power, jealousy and cannibalism and a long time ago and to find out how the human body worked. This may not be all the reasons, but they are the ones I am writing about now.

In the 1960's Myra Hindley and her boyfriend Ian Brady were responsible for the Moors murders. Moors are an overgrown wasteland thats infertile. Ian Brady had Myra make the girls feel safe, they would go with her On the pretence let's say of finding a lost glove at the moors. The child would go only to be killed at the hands of Myra and I an. They were even brave enough to take some to their own apartment and torture them and then ending thier lives. Myra and Ian had made a trophy tape. serial killers usually take something from their victim, jewelry, pictures, shoes among a few.) the tape of them torturing and killing a little girl, became their undoing. The little girl screaming for her life only to be strangled, snuffed out. All in all the childerens ages ran from under 12 all the way up to 16,17.They were prosecuted and found guilty.

Myra Hindley died in 2002

Elizabeth Bathroy was one of the most strangest women I ever researched who killed. Elizabeth, a Noblewoman was born in Translyvannia in 1560. Approximiately age 4 or 5 Elizabeth had severe seizures. Some believe these seizures caused her mental illness.. At 15 she married count Ferenec thus, becoming a countess.

One day she was punishing a servant girl, and a drop of the girls blood fell on her hand.

Elizabeth believed this made her hand younger. That's how the countess got started. She would then, have servants bring up young servant girls . She would then drink their blood and eventually would drain their blood completely to bathe in it. She killed so many servant girls in different ways. She rigged a cage with spikes at the top so they could push the poor girl into those spikes giving her a shower in their blood.

Eventually , Elizabeth killed another noblewoman and was caught. She was put under house arrest , and in the very chamber she tortured and killed the servants in ,she was walled into. No windows ,just a small opening for food.

It is said without the killings Elizabeth was a very ,very, attractive woman. So beautiful one of the servants went to look at her through the opening. He found her beautiful but dead. That was 1614

Betty Broderick was born in 1947. She was born to two very hardworking parents, who gave her an upper middle class lifestyle.

In 1965 she met David Broderick and became his wife. David and her kids were her existence, her entire world.

She worked hard and made huge sacrifices so that David could become a lawyer. If not for Betty's love, support and sacrifices he may not have ever become a lawyer.

Just when they made it to the top, David turned on her. He started working late, not making it to family gatherings. He hired a pretty young secretary, Linda. Betty soon was dumped for a younger version of her, and it killed her. David took away everything that mattered to her,he took away her life. David was the love of her life, she gave up so much for him. Linda would send her pamphlets on Turning Back Time an anti aging creme, or pamphlets on how to lose weight. they taunted Betty something awful. Then the ultimate betrayl, David divorced her then David married Linda. Before the ink on their divorce papers dried. Another knife in her back.

Betty retaliated in the worst ways. running her SUV into his front door.Making awful phone calls.

Early one morning, she entered their house with a gun.She quietly crept up to their room and first shot Linda, David upon hearing the shot, rolled off the bed ,trying to grab the phone. Betty shot him also. Betty later said she went with the intent of killing herself and splattering her brains all over them.

She was convicted of the shootings and recieved 2 -15 years to life sentences.

Before the age of 49 Dorthea was on the fast track to prison. She had served time for forgery, writing bad checks, fraud and theft. When she was released from prison it was determined she was a threat and danger to the elderly.

At age 59 Dorthea opened a boarding house. She advertised low housing costs and great care. The boarding house didn't make money if there was no turnover. Dorthea decided there would be a turn over. She would kill her boarders. neighbors would ask about certain boarders and they were told, they took off ,or went to family.

A parole officer went to check on a boarder and noticed a horrid smell and called the police. Dorthea consented to let them search and could she go get a cup of coffee at a motel down the street. Dorthea ran. She was caught trying to lure another older gentlemen in her web. He recognized her and called the police.

They found 7 bodies in her backyard. One had been dismembered. She had a total body count of nine. Dorthea was convicted of 3. she recieved life in prison.

Omiama Nelson migrated to California from Egypt. She was 15. When she was 23 she met William Nelson. William Nelson was older but he fell for the lovely 23 year old immediately. He showed her off to his friends and family. Everyone liked her , so he threw caution to the wind. He asked Omiama to be his bride.

Omiama readily accepted his ring, and they seemed to be a happy couple. William had no idea he had just married his killer.Over Thanksgiving weekend, it is believed to render William helpless, she used sex. Tied him to the bed and stabbed him to death. Tying men to the bed was not unusual for Omiama ,she had done it before. She would tie her boyfriends up and then produce a weapon to rob them. William she killed.

After killing William, she dismembered his body. She enlisted the help of two ex boyfriends to remove his teeth. She cooked his hands and brought his head to a boil. She threw some of him down the garbage disposal. The most sadistic thing she did was to cook his ribs and eat them with barbeque sauce and vegetables. she stated the ribs were so tender and sweet. She claims in Egypt if they cut up the body, they won't meet in the after life.

She was convicted of his murder and recieved 25 years to life. She will be eligible for parole in 2026. In 2006 she was up for parole but was denied it. She has done nothing during her time so far to recieve help and doesn't believe there's anything wrong with her.

I could write forever about women who kill. However I can never understand women who kill. There will be a part two of this article.

This is a very interesting read! The countess is a blood-curdling one and no mistake. The prevalence of the concept of the aristocrat vampire can be laid squarely at her feet... her and Vlad Tepes of course.

Well thanks! There will be more on women and male /children serial killers. I find them interesting how some people can kill, and why some of us can't. I'm beginning to think there is no answer, there are common threads but really no real answers. Glad you enjoyed my hub, writing a new one today! Morning from Oregon @ 8:15 a.m. time to get coffee and check on my sick teenager! I have a sick child home today, had a couple ideas to write about, on a diet so I'm gonna go get my coffee and my veggies eggs and ranch. lost 17 pounds already!

@isenhower33 you are so right about that! To this day a woman can even get a man to take her back after she's poisened him! I've seen the stories on Deadly women Friday nights on ID discovery channel. Alot of women suck these poor guys in.

People also forget some of the best assassins were women, only because they would lure a guy to like them and then kill them.
