Finding some joy in Italia...
Finding some joy in Italia...

-Nehemiah 8:10- Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some
to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do
not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

Did you know that you CAN find joy in cancer? Cancer is not fun, pleasant, or anything good. There is a BIG difference between joy and happiness!

I was humbled and surprised to have been mentioned by our teaching pastor in the sermon that weekend.

The sermon was entitled: God's Gift To Us: Joy!!, preached by Ken Idleman, and you can watch it below.

I had no idea that I was going to be a topic for the sermon this weekend, and was glad it was for something good...lol.

Joy sometimes isn't easy to find. This fallen world is such a heavy burden to lug around! However, if you take your eyes off of yourself, and whatever situation you're in, and put your eyes on Jesus, that joy automatically downloads into your soul.

Life isn't pleasant. It has it's moments, but mostly it's a battle. However, if you seek it out, JOY will come to you in those dark times.

Jesus will give you a peace and a joy that can't be explained by any human standard.

Joy is a choice. I choose to go running into it. I hope that you choose the same!!
