Finding the Right Weight Loss Plan
Finding the right weight loss plan can be very frustrating, after all, everytime you turn around, someone is coming out with a "New and Improved" lose weight fast diet.
But, is it really that easy to lose weight fast, and is it healthy? So, you should ask yourself, how much weight do I want to lose and how much time do I have to lose the weight I want?
What are you Looking For?
There are so many different diets, and plans and pills and I've tried quite a few myself. so, where should you start? I've started diets, lose a few pounds, think I'm on my way, only to gain them back or stay where I'm at. Why? Because I wasn't consistant with my diet. Just because I lost a few pounds, I'd slack on what I was doing. Being consistant is the most important thing you have to keep in the front of your head. Something else you need to do is lay out a plan.
You need to ask yourself, how much weight do I want to lose? Set a goal, post it on the fridge, your mirror, on your computer, always have the goal in mind. Next you need to change the way you think about food, do you eat when you're bored, upset, frustrated or is it just comfort food? You really don't need to change what you eat, just the amount. Make losing the weight your number one priority, we always put our kids, family, job ahead of our own needs. This is where you need to say, "I'm taking time for myself, I NEED the time for myself". Believe me, they will live without you for 30 minutes a day. Or better yet, have your family join you, because they can also help you.It's great to have a buddy system, this is how I've helped countless friends lose their weight. Having support is one of the best ways for you to lose weight.
You don't want to be around people, family or friends who won't support you. This will make it very difficult for you to lose the weight you want and to keep it off. Make sure that everyone around you is on board with this and is there to help you, not hurt you.
One of my good friends who had tried to lose weight before and always failed, finally started losing the weight she wanted. And the only reason she couldn't lose the weight was because her Mother was the one that was sabotaging her weight loss efforts. When I stepped in to help her and made her realize that it WAS her Mom, then she was able to move forward and started losing the weight. So, be sure to have the support you need, so that you can easily attain your weight loss goals.
If you don't have friends or family that will support you, there is always your local gym, the internet, work or even set up something yourself with posting flyers around, asking for others who want to start daily walks or workouts.
There are many plans out there and everyone always seems to have the right advice. I like to have choices and read articles and blogs about the different products available. I can't tell you you should try this product or that one because what works for me, may not work for you. Finding the right Weight Loss Plan for you is up to you. Just remember, stick to your guns and do it. Stop with any excuses you've been putting out there, because there is no excuse for being overweight, and you'll watch as your kids follow in your footsteps and become overweight themselves. Is this what you want for them? I know it's not, because it's unhealthy.
