Five Minute Fat Burners for Everyday People

Updated on September 17, 2012

I am often asked how people can burn calories by doing everyday activities. A lot of people do not have time to go to the gym. Staying active accounts for something and can burn calories too. To loose weight, it is a simple concept of having a higher caloric expenditure as opposed to calories consumed. This truly depicts how much calories one can burn in a simple five minutes of activity. Add a bunch of these activities up throughout the day, along with following a balanced diet, and you could be on the approach to a smaller waistline.

Slip in these Fun Calorie Blasters

Angela Brummer: Thanks for your read. The article is called 5 Minute Fat Burners, so the calorie count is approximate for mowing the lawn for 5 minutes. Of course other factors influence the numbers such as if the lawn is on a hill, the percentage of body fat the person pushing the mower has, etc.

Mow the lawn with a push mower: 22 Calories?. This sounds a little low.. I guess it depends on how big the lawn is? Great ideas!

Very good and practical advice. These are things anyone can do, and they are activities that can be slipped into the daily routine. Also, voted up!
