Ten Quick Low Carb Desserts

Updated on August 8, 2011

Allowed to or not allowed to?...

I hate the thought that i can't eat what i want, when i want and how much i want. We all know what makes us fat and it is typically foods that are of no real nutritional value, but they are so delicious.

The problem is food that is of no nutritional value is the culprit for weight gain because our body doesn't know what to do with it and therefore struggles to use it to it's advantage. Through the process of digestion the body takes what it needs then leaves what it can't to be stored as fat in the body's fat pockets.

It usually happens with any number of reasons but the greatest issues usually happen when the metabolism slows down, the person doesn't get enough exercise, when they eat more unhealthy foods than healthy or battle a sickness or disease.

Yet we who have to pay close attention to the non nutritionally valued foods we love should never lose hope. We just need to tweak our food intake so that we can enjoy all the foods we love and make exercise a priority.

Food, nutritious food is a key component in how well maintained the human body is, it needs food for fuel and usually has no problem doing it's job. But with the increase of the lack of nutritious food we find ourselves dealing with issues that are linked to what we eat.

I am a firm believer in moderation! But a person's health is sacred as well. It takes time, energy and money to recover it once it is gone but it is not impossible when we start with pray and nutrition.

Remember you are worth the best you can do for your body, but don't deny yourselves the pleasure of eating either that causes more problems than it is worth in the end.

Generally i hate being told i can't eat what i want but i do know that i have to take responsibility for what i eat, when i eat and how much i eat.
