Yes, that Mountain Dew is delicious but it's also preventing you from losing weight. Many people have dropped pounds simply from ditching their favorite soda and going for water instead. Don't think you can do it? You can! Studies have shown that a lot of the appeal of sodas comes from the carbonation and not so much the flavor of the soda itself. Trying switching to sparkling water. You'll still have that delightful fizz but without all the bad stuff. And if you're having a hard time quitting cold turkey, taper off instead. Instead of three sodas a day, drink two and so on.

If you want to lose weight you're going to have to start exercising. You don't have to throw yourself into bootcamp-like training, you can start off slow. Maybe walk for just 10-15 minutes a day and increase the minutes as you get comfortable.

Have tea time

Drinking tea is a great way to improve your health. There are plenty of them out there but green tea will be a good start. Studies have shown that green tea can work as a appetite suppressant and help boost your metabolism.

Sleep well

Make sure you are getting enough sleep every night. Being well rested will help your body work to burn calories and build muscle tone. It will also get rid of that "I'm too tired" excuse.

Avoid skipping meals

Skipping meals is a big no-no. When you skip meals, you're setting yourself up to pig out later on. Give your body the fuel it needs by eating three meals a day.
