There are many natural foods that heal the body and can also treat certain illnesses and diseases.By eating the right foods daily you can help fight and prevent infections.Eating foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables,herbal teas and and different spices can help boost your immune system and improve general well being.

Taking these natural healing foods contain good amounts of vitamins and minerals and phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are only found in plant based foods.To ensure that you get a wide variety of these nutrients it is recommended that you have a balanced diet.

Below I will list foods that heal the body and can also prevent disease.By regularly including these foods in your diet you will be helping the healing process and also help detox your body and remove toxins which can effect your health.

Healing properties of Lemons

Lemons are a great source of vitamin C and can help to heal wounds,prevent heart disease,cancer and digestive problems such as bloating and constipation.Lemons has also been known to be a liver tonic and can also dissolve kidney stones.

To help remove toxins and bacteria from your body add lemon juice in warm water and drink it every morning to help with the detoxification process.Lemons can also stop nose bleeds and stop gums from bleeding. By doing a Lemon Water Diet regularly, you can help your body eliminate toxic substances from the body.

Parsley

Parsley contains many health benefits.Parsley contains high amounts of nutrients of minerals and trace elements such as vitamins A, C and K, manganese, iron and folate.Parsley can help fight cancer and stop tumour growth especially in the lungs.The nutrients found in parsley have also been known to have benefits for both hair and skin.

Adding parsley to your food can also help reduce the risk of strokes and heart disease as they contain folic acid which is needed for heart health, they also contain good amounts of anti oxidants called flavonoids which help protect your cells from damage.

Recent studies have shown that cherries have the ability to help shrink tumours as they contain ellagic acid.They can also help insulin production and lower blood cholesterol levels in the body.
