How to Get Free Dental Implants

Updated on October 21, 2011

Great Free Dental Implants Information

If you are searching the web for free dental implants, then you have definitely come to the right place. There is a lot of misinformation in advertisements you may see on TV, hear on the radio, or even see in the newspaper. The fine print is either too small, or you can't see it on TV because it goes away so fast. The problem is that some dentists use this advertising trick to play on your emotions, and then tack on additional fees and charges that you weren't quoted for nor were you expecting, leaving you with large dental bills just because a dentist advertised dental implants for free.

I am going to help you out and give you a break down on the costs of dental implants, why they cost so much, and some options you can look into that will help you to be able to find free dental implants or at least extremely reduced cost dental implants.

Costs of Dental Implants

To understand why dentists will advertise free dental implants but not really deliver is to look at how much these costs. In addition to the time it takes for the dentist to do the procedure and handle the ordering of implants, etc. the implants themselves cost money.

Because every person is different and their dental implants needs are different, the price ranges can vary quite a bit. In fact, dental implants can cost you anywhere from $1,200 to $5000, depending on how extensive of a procedure you are looking at. If you're looking into getting dental implants for your whole mouth, that can start running in the high tens of thousands of dollars. No wonder you're looking for free dental implants, or at least cheap ones, because they can be so high and out of reach for many people who may desperately need them, and there aren't many free implants dental options.

Free Dental Implant Scams

As i said before, some dentists will use tricks and misinformation in order to get you in the door, and end up paying hidden fees. One of the reasons they are able to get away with it is because of the fine print in the ads, or in the contracts that you end up signing because you can receive these "free" implants.

One trick they use is failing to explain to you that while you can get the actual free dental implant, you still have to pay for the dentist's time, as well as the actual fake teeth or veneers. Yes, the actual teeth that you want everyone to see will not come to you for free, only the actual implant itself. Don't worry though, if you keep reading, I will give you some options for finding places that will allow you to get the implants and veneers at a cheaper price because there are options for cheap tooth implants in the United States.

Another trick that some dentists use in order to get people in the door is by saying that the dental implants are free, but then they tack on additional expenses that they didn't quote you, and they'll say that it is because something came up during the surgery that they weren't expecting. While some of these charges may be legitimate, often times they are not and it is the dentist trying to pad their wallets with additional charges while they are doing the surgery for you that they claimed was free. Ask the dentists that you are considering what additional charges or extra fees you could expect depending on your specific situation.

How to Get Free Dental Implants

While there are definitely scams as I discussed, there are some ways that you may be able to get free dental implants or at least cheap dental implants. It may take some work on your part, but here are some tips on how to get free dental implants:

  • Search online for free dental implants. Be sure to be aware of the scams I talked about above, but you may be able to find a legitimate dentist who wants to help people out and isn't just trying to get every last cent that they can from you.
  • Find a dentistry school nearby. Often times you'll be able to get reduced dental surgeries, including dental implants, at a reduced cost or even free, because they need to get the practice in order to graduate from dental school. Do not worry though, because these budding dentists are always under the watchful eye of a certified dentist.  In reality, free dental schools implants are one of your best options for getting the free implants.
  • Depending on your financial situation, you may qualify for discounts because of your low income status. Contact the American Dental Association, and they will be able to find you some dentists in your area who will work for reduced costs for those who are below a certain income level. That is how you can get the cheapest advertised dental implants (and non advertised as well).
  • As with everything, be sure to shop around to find the best prices. Do your research and ask the hard questions to the dentists, because you do not want to be stuck with additional fees when you thought you were getting a free dental implant.

I would love to get dental implants. But they are to expensive.

My income is from Social Security.

With all that I have o pay, there's not enough money left for me to get implants on a payment plan.

I have dentures. But for some reason, the bottom ones keep coming coming off. I put enough polygrip on them, but they still coming ff, ( or out)

If I could get FREE implants, would be great. Or be a person that the practicing dentist to work on.

If there is a possible chance that I could get FREE implants, it would be a joy.

For the past 7 years my teeth have been a victim of gastric bypass regurgitation. The acid from my stomach had destroyed my teeth, I'm a licensed real estate agent and can not practice because your smile is part of the job! I have applied for other jobs but the most devastating thing was for a potential employee to tell me he would not hire me because my teeth look so bad, that was my true reality. But what do you do when you can't afford what holds a barrier between you and the job to support your family! If I could financially pay for the implants that I know I need my front teeth are beyond repair and I was told I need dentures at 47 that's like a sentenced to death I thought I'm too young for dentures and what else could I do in order for me to have what I need to get a job not afraid to smile at everyone or as most people say not to always look so angry and mad I called to find out how much it would cost and I was totally devastated by the price I knew I could never ever say that kind of money I didn't even make that much money on my last job so what else could I do someone told me to look around to see if someone could help me in regards to getting dental implants that would help me out so I'm pleading and asking if anyone knows anywhere that I can get assistance with getting dental implant at no cost please let me know my email is

I would LOVE to get all implants or even the mini implants. I'm only 33 and I use to have beautiful teeth! Unfortunetly due to a medication I was taking it dried my mouth and caused most of my teeth to crack and decay. Thankfully I was able to get Medicaid in FL. And they payed for me to get all my teeth pulled AND a full set of dentures. Now I am extremely grateful I was able to get them BUT I can't stand them! I had big beautiful teeth. These are to small! You can't even see them when I smile. I've always had low self esteem and my teeth were the ONE thing I actually loved about myself. I loved my smile before. Now my whole smile is not even mine. One day I'll hopefully have the money to get implants. Or hoping for a miracle...

Does anybody who can actually help ever read these. I am 52 yrs. old and try to be a positive happy person. I'm raising two awesome boys that I try to give positive advice to and raise them in a positive environment. I wake up ever day knowing that my teeth are horrible. I brush what's left of them and try to keep my mouth clean but IM a sad person inside because I can't smile or even talk too much because I do know that society does judge people by how they look and I've been told by some that I'm very pretty until I open my mouth and then I get the looks. I had all my wisdom teeth pulled in my 20 then over the years when I didn't clean my back teeth as well as I thought I was they started decaying so I would get this one pulled then that one pulled. Then the teeth start spreading apart because of the extra room in my mouth . Then they get loose and start forming cavities under them then I get those fixed but it just keeps going and going. Then 6 years ago I fell and knocked my 2 bottom for t teeth out and had to get a partial. In order for them to do that they said they had to pull the tooth on either side of the ones I lost . So I let them. I got the partial but now over time the sides of the partial that wrap around my back teeth to hold it in have cut into the sides of the teeth that lye in between the front of the partial and the wire wrap on the back of my mouth and those teeth have now broken off level with the sides of the partial. My front teeth on top are crooked now because of all the extra room in my mouth. I have a job that I love but everyday now before I go I start stressing out because I will have to talk to people at some point and I'm embarrassed. I can afford I think I can anyway to have the rest of my teeth pulled out of my mouth but I can't afford any more than that. I don't know what to do. Ending my life isnot an option but I have noticed that I am hiding away from people now. My name is Lisa.

Im Desperate and in dire Need of your help so I hope it's ok to post this here.

Do you guys repair or replace damaged dentures? I have a Denture Plate on top that has been broken into 4 or 5 pieces and I'm constantly trying to keep them superglued together. The glue may hold just a few mins and may hold 2 or 3 weeks if I'm lucky, but always rebreaks. I've been glueing them now for over 5 years and I am desperate to have them fixed/replaced. I don't know if my sore mouth can continue wearing these pieced together dentures anymore, as it's very painful to wear, even if I get lucky with the alignment when glueing them.

I'm just 38 years old and am going thru more than the norm or usual for someone my age. The dentist that helped me get them originally, refused to help me fix, repair or replace them when they started breaking apart just 1 month after having them, all because the Medicaid Insurance I had when I got them, had expired, so I was told to use superglue until I could afford to replace them. Now there's so much glue that has to be used just to fill the gaps in between the pieces after glueing them, that it makes them too fragile to hold up for small task like biting into something as soft as an egg sandwich. And when they constantly break, it makes it hard to rely on them for cosmetic purposes too. Not to mention how much it destroys my self esteem while forced to be in public.

I don't have much money at all, and even less now, as I've had a very tough year in 2015, that's still kicking my butt at the end of 2016. I buried my only child at just 19 years old on Feb 3, 2015 and just 4 months later, I also had to bury my Soulmate and Fiance at just 37 years old, on June 14, 2015. I've been trying to recoup every since, but it's been a slow recovery.

I can't afford the dental Implants I really want, and can't even afford a replacement Denture Plate unless you can arrange a payment plan for me so i can pay you in payments. But if that's not possible, what would a repair cost me on the upper plate that will atleast stop them from falling apart and into pieces all the time? And would the entire price need to be paid for upfront or all at once, or could a payment plan be arranged for this to help me? Any help you could assist me with, would greatly be appreciated.

I can be contacted at. ..

It's so pathetic that there is not a better way to deal with the cost of adult dental

Care in canada... do you really have to go to mexico to get the lower cost so you don't have to sell your house or go into deep debt just to be healthy...WHY is it that way? Why doesn't our government DO something about it...this country and its people are being trampled by the cost of living...housing food and energy cost are record breaking...people's wages have not gone up and everyone is struggling to LIVE..then your teeth need man.. what's next ,it's depressing because it seems can anyone afford 4000 for ONE TOOTH and you can't chew bc it hurts, and you need 8 more done..even if you have a normal job HOW..DO YOU GET THE MONEY FOR THAT.?? When your paycheck doesn't even stretch to the next one. No wonder people do desperate makes me sick. Our government should be ashamed of this.

I have been with my husband for 10 years, but just finally got married I always hesitated to marry him because of my teeth but I am now married and have come to the point that I need either implants or dentures and I have lied to him about how bad it is, I have often comptiplated taking my own life because it's so bad, and now I see a glimmer of hope until I get a big fat huge slap in the face when I see my teeth. He is an amazing man and now wants children and I'm denying him that because of how bad it is and when I think about that I should have never married him he deserves so much better I should have just ended it and my life so that he could be happy because I realize there is no way I will ever be able to fix this.i would love children to but know that because of my teeth I can't do it, for health reasons that I'm scared could happen...I'm ready to give up at this point if there's nobody out there willing to give me the miracle I need I just need to let him go and lt myself go...tired of praying for help that's not coming and tired of longing for a family I will never have I'm a humiliating ugly disgusting person with this mouth full of crap to remind me everyday

As of this June 2015, I will have been chronically ill with chronic and severe Sjogren's (a form of cancer), chronic and severe Fibromyalgia, Neuropathy, etc for 12 years (sick at 28). Throughout this time I've had many surgeries and have taken much medication. This surgeries have chipped teeth, while the medicines have taken them. It's hard for me to get help because I'm on disability and have medicaid and because I must have a dental surgeon in the room at all times because of my condition. I can't even get regular cleanings like I need to. It's a hard situation all around. I just turned 40 and want something different. I have an 11 yr. old autistic son who never sees his mom's teeth because I'm embarrass. Ty in advance for listening.

For the past 5 years I have been putting up with abscesses and been breaking my rotten teeth. When I break them I remove what I can to relive the pain. I even pulled out a few nerves. I did weigh 160 pounds but now since I can't eat healthy I weigh 130. I have had jobs but they always end the same way becsuse I miss to much work because of my teeth. I need a miracle. If I don't find help I belive I will die. Please parents tell your kids to take care of their teeth. I do not wish my predicament on anyone. My email is

Nice tips on finding affordable or cheap dental implants. Costs can be pretty high so using those tips even if it means spending a bit more time is worth it. Here is a nice guide about dental implant cost that can be helpful:

I'll get the specifics out right away. I am a 40 year old mother of one awsome 2 year old little girl who when my 4 tooth cap rotted out today was like "OWIE Mommy teeth" I originally knocked out my front tooth in 4th grade running up the church steps. Root canal/cap that lead to a retainer that lead to a cap/Marilyn Bridge. Then a few years ago I was in a bicycle accident and knock out the tooth that was capped and the one next to it. 3 capped teeth for a 5 tooth spread in the front of my grill. The Dentist that did my work built the 4 tooth cap on a tooth that was damaged. After $6000 I couldn't afford the extra $700 for the root canal on the tooth that was attached to the cap. Long story short... that tooth has now just rotted out of my mouth. I am a leader in the community; building non-profit, Fair Trade, Sustainability and I also do sound for live music events. I have a GREAT smile, let's get some teeth to back it!

If you live in Texas and are on SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance or any insurance really), if your teeth got damaged by an accident your insurance must pay for the surgery. And, here is the good part, it can be any accident. Even if it is your own fault. However, expect a fight with your insurance. I lost mine because I passed out, bad heart disease, hit the kitchen counter with my jaw. Then it dislocated and slammed back it the joint when I hit the floor, thereby chipping a bone in my jaw. If something of this nature happens to you go to the hospital so the accident can be documented, or let your homeowners insurance company know so that they are made aware of what happened because some of these insurances will pay for it. This only applies in some companies and some states. I still do not have mine and I under stand your pain and depression. Mine is so bad I can actually feel the nerves moving through my mouth and all the muscles that hold the jaw and under tongue in place have been stripped. As citizens of the US need to find a common voice and let our government know that this is not cosmetic, but medical. Uninsured dental work that continues to escalate is in the top ten leading causes of heart disease. This a "medical" necessity, not cosmetic. I wish everyone good luck on your struggles with this issue and I hope this was informative.
