Get Pregnant with a Girl by Learning How to Calculate Ovulation Dates

Updated on November 14, 2017

Getting pregnant with a girl is possible by learning how to calculate ovulation date.Pregnancy may not occur when the timing is not right. If you can count the days when the egg is ready to meet a sperm, the odds of having a baby girl is higher.

What is Ovulation?

Ovulation is the release of a single mature egg from the ovary. The egg will stay in one of the fallopian tubes within 48 hours. If during this period a sperm cell unites with the egg, conceiving a baby starts. However, if none of the sperm cells was successful, the egg will disintegrate into a menstrual bleeding.

How to Calculate Ovulation Date

For a normal menstrual cycle, ovulation occurs on the 14th day from the start of the menstrual bleeding. For example, if you had your period on the 10th of the month, your next ovulation will fall on the 23rd of the same month. There are women however, who have irregular menstrual periods, and therefore this method of calculating ovulation date will not work for them. Factors such as stress, medication, and illness can also prevent the prompt release of the egg. The symptoms of ovulation can be used instead to know the best time to make love to have a baby girl.

How to Have a Baby Girl

Millions of x and y chromosomes are released in just a single blow. The x chromosomes, which produce baby girls, can live inside the female body for up to 5 days, while their male counterparts can only last for up to 2 days. To get pregnant with girl, you should make love 3 to 4 days before ovulation—or on the 10th or 11th day of your menstrual cycle. This way, you are allowing the x sperms to outlive the y sperms before the egg becomes available.
