Goji Gourmet: All Natural, Healthy Cookies

Updated on August 20, 2011

Would you be happy if only you could find a way to work cookies into your healthy eating plan on a regular basis? While there are certainly plenty of reasons not to eat most commercially available cookies if you’re trying to improve your diet, it’s important to keep in mind that there are healthy alternatives. After all, not all cookies are created equal! Just check out the healthy options available from Goji Gourmet!

About Goji Gourmet Cookies

If you didn’t think you’d ever find a good-tasting cookie that would fit into your diet, you’ll be happy to be proven wrong by Goji Gourmet. I’ve tried many so-called healthful snack foods before with the highest hopes, only to be disappointed at first bite. So, I was skeptical when I first heard about the Goji Gourmet product line. However, when the folks at Goji Gourmet sent me a selection of samples to try and review, I have to admit that I was quite pleasantly surprised. They are very flavorful and satisfying.

Goju Gormet cookies are all healthy, delicious, all-natural snacks that contain ingredients that can fit into just about any healthy eating plan. Goji Gourmet cookies are not sugar or carbohydrate free, but they contain only about 4 carbs per cookie, due to the fact that they’re sweetened with buckwheat honey rather than refined sugar. They’re also low in calories and fat, but are high in antioxidants.

Goji Gourmet Flavor Varieties

Goji Gourmet cookies are available in many different flavors, so there’s an option for just about any taste bud preference. Each flavor features healthful, nutrient-packed goji berrires, paired with other healthy “superfood” ingredients like almond, cacao ginger, oat, walnut and more. Most of the ingredients used to prepare these tasty treats are organic.

Available flavors include:

  • Goji Almond Oat
  • Goji Cherry Cacao (my favorite)
  • Goji Chocolate Chip
  • Goji Ginger Walnut
  • Goji Orange MintChip

Why Goji Berries?

If the fact that Goji Gourmet cookies provide a diet-friendly cookie option isn’t enough to make you wonder if it’s a good idea to try the product for yourself, stop and consider the benefits of introducing goji berries into your diet. This unique fruit is a powerful source of nutrients. Here are a few facts about goji berries:

Goji berries contain:

  • More beta carotene than carrots
  • More iron than steak or spinach
  • More Vitamin C than oranges (by weight)
  • 18 amino acids, 8 of which are essential
  • 21 essential minerals

These are just a few of the nutritional benefits that goji berries have to offer. Visit to learn more about this powerful fruit.
