Green Lipped Mussels are Being Proposed to Pharmaceutical Companies

Updated on January 7, 2015

Green lipped muscles are something that a lot of people do not think about. They do not consider these muscles as anything more than for eating, or something you would find in the depths of the water. However, new research and medical evidence provides proof that they are able to help with much more than this.

Green lipped muscles have been tested for some time now on those patients that have arthritis. These patients are now undergoing treatment from the green lipped muscles that are in freeze dried powder form and taken with drinks. The patients have shown 59% of them have had little to no arthritis pain since they have started the treatment weeks ago. This is a major break through for the doctors and scientists that have been working on a way to relieve pain, without the harmful effects that some chemicals found in medications can have.

Proposed Plans

The scientists and doctors feel that they have enough information and research to start pitching the product to pharmaceutical companies. They want to show the effects that this powder can have on patients. This is something that is going to take a lot of time and proof to show the companies - in order to start having them use the product within their products.

Joint pain and inflammation is able to get down to a minimum with the help of this powder. Not only in people, but in animals, too. This is a major breakthrough and even if the pharmaceutical companies deny the use of the powder; the scientists and doctors are going to start gathering additional information about the product, so that they will be able to start using it in some of their own products that are given to patients that suffer from this problem.

Omega-3 fatty acids have been used for quite some time from botanical ingredients, however, this is the first time that the products have been extracted from the green lipped muscles. The powder is then provided to those patients suffering from this pain - showing great improvement with the coming weeks that they are evaluated in.

With exports increasing to over 30 countries, there continues to be a demand for the green lipped muscle powder and they will continue to do their research and supply everyone with the information needed so that they are able to take advantage of the powder, in all of the countries, that could use a little help in the medical world.

Sales are expected to increase with time, and with need from those around the world. There is already some interest throughout some of the countries that are not yet using the product. Everyone is looking for a healthy alternative to the medicine that they are currently on, and it seems like the green lipped muscle might be the answer that they have been looking for.

As for now, you can expect to see an increase in how much this new product is used throughout the world.
