Green Tea and Weight Loss

Tea is a drink, which is normally included in most of our routine life diet. It keeps us refreshing.

According to the caffeine level their are 5 types of tea available. Which are black tea, oolong tea, Green tea, White tea and Herbal tea. I am here to discuss about green tea ( leaves from camellia sinensis) and its effect on weight loss.

Many in the world are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars to decrease their weight but the safest way and natural way is taking green tea and exercise regularly.

You must know that one pound ( 0.450 Kilogram) of weight is equal to apprx. 3500 calorie.If you want to lose 1 pound of weight for a certain period of time you must have a deficit of 3500 calorie in your standard calorie requirement. It is estimated 5 cups of green tea could burn 80 calories a day.

The Process by which green tea is related to weight loss is discussed below:

1) Green tea contains an ingredient called Polyphenols which activate the enzyme and dissolve excess Triglyceride. Triglyceride is an important source of energy but excess amount of it cause fat and intake of green plays important role in dissolving it and not depositing fat.

2) Green tea contains Catechin Polyphenols and which is responsible for many health benefits. Among them Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) found helps to stimulate metabolism rate which results in weight loss.

3) ECGC along with Caffeine in green tea trigger a process called thermogenesis. It cause fat to release in blood stream from the body to use as fuel. Thermogenesis has got a important role in weight loss.

4) Green tea helps in using fatty acids by liver and muscle cells which provide increased energy. In such way green tea increases a persons endurance level and can exercise for longer time for weight loss.

So, Green tea is a credible method of weight loss. Though it is recommended to have regular exercise with healthy balanced diet to keep you fit with a standard weight.
