Guided meditation: The water cycle as spiritual healing journey

Take a few moments to sit comfortably and begin the guided meditation. Place your feet onto the ground or recline on a bed. Let your muscles soften. Take several deep breaths and feel the tension release. Allow the muscles around your eyes to relax.

Feel your breath exhale. Allow your chest to soften as the tension floats away. Feel the air around the room against your skin.

Release the tension from your head and neck. Next feel you shoulders relax. Then your hips, your legs, you feet and your toes.

Look out of the nearest window up at the sky or if there's no window simply imagine a cloud high up, still and peaceful. The cloud's simply drifting along with no care in the world.

Now go closer towards the cloud. Lose yourself in its soft and clean mist. Feel the cool droplets of water against your face. Against your body. Let them surround you.

Feel the cool and pure water droplets against your skin. Let them gently wet you and cleanse your aura, your body, your mind and your soul.

Now you are one with the cloud. You are part of it. Everything is right. Everything is perfect, beautiful and still. You are totally at peace.

More water droplets begin to form around you on the edges of the cloud. There is more pure and clean cleansing water all around you. It's magnificent. Everything is so clean.

And as you relax you see that more healing water molecules are forming too. All around you. You notice that they are coming up from a vast blue plain below you. You look closer and it's the ocean.

The ocean is vast and deep. It's blue waters stretch for miles around. It is deep and strong. Dark blue and mysterious.

In the vast distance you see an opening. Water is pouring into the sea. Millions and millions of gallons of rich blue water and pouring into this vast body of water.

You see beyond the water that's pouring into the sea and there's a river. Fast-flowing water is splashing over rocks and against banks. You can hear the force of it. It's incredible.

There are birds by the river drinking in the water and there are animals bathing in it. The life-force is amazing. The warm sun is beaming down and reflecting off the water. An oasis of life is happening all around the river.

It stretches further up into the mountains trough dense trees and through winding turns. The river's still flowing quickly full of life.

You can hear the splish splash as it flows over rocks and all around in the forest it is quite. There's the occasional call of a bird.

The river's now only a stream. A cool and fresh flow of water. It's higher up on the mountain tops where no life is around.

Now there's silence. Just the peaceful flow of the tiny water through the mountain side.

 But what's this? Above the stream are millions of tiny water droplets in the air around it. They are in a cloud. A beautiful pure cloud of cleansing water.

The clouds joined to the tiny trickle of water that's on the mountainside. And what's this. You notice that all around you there are an endless amount of water droplets - and they're all joined to the cloud above the water.

You're there, a tiny water droplet in the cloud, joined to the above round bubbles of liquid, ready to begin your pure and healing journey.

      I love this -- I was really relaxed. I will be using this meditation often. We just do not take enough time ouoot for this and we need it so much. Thank you so much.
