If you have arrived here, you have been searching for the best article on mesothelioma and are looking for advice on specialist lawyers who deal specifically with mesothelioma.  These lawyers can help you get compensation.  Why?  Read on!

I volunteer for the Red Cross. I take patients to oncology for their radiotherapy treatment. Most of my patients have cancer and I help them through an emotional roller coaster journey.

Unfortunately in the UK it is too late to claim for compensation but if you are quick, elsewhere in the world, mesothelioma lawyers can help you get compensation.

Mesothelioma And The Right to Compensation

Cancer’s like mesothelioma derives from external factors that the victim may not have had control over. This is almost always caused by asbestos. They may have contracted this cancer because of work requirements. I want to advocate for people that have mesothelioma so as they may fulfil their right to compensation.

This can not put things right, but it can help to punish those that have helped shorten their lives through their neglect. It can also highlight awareness to the dangers of asbestos handling, thereby helping others. Compensation doesn’t make good of the potential loss of a loved one, however, it can certainly increase the quality of life of the sufferer and help loved ones financially once they are gone.

  • People with mesothelioma will/have the right to compensation.
  • **SUE FOR COMPENSATION NOW! DON’T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT!**

What is Mesothelioma?

Mesothelioma is a cancer that affects the lining of the lungs called pleura. It can also occur in the lining of the abdominal wall cavity (peritoneum), the pericardium (the covering or sac around the heart) or the lining in the testes (tunica vaginalis).

Most people who contract this form of cancer are those that have worked in industries such as ship builders, housing and steel industries. It is also thought that not only those who worked in these high-risk areas, but also those who have close contact with the worker. People like wives and mothers who washes their clothes, for instance, are at risk of inhalation of the asbestos substance.

  • Mesothelioma is an asbestos induced cancer.
  • People with a high risk are workers and their families who worked in building and steel industries. Predominately, they are working class who had lots of contact with asbestos.

How can asbestos cause mesothelioma?

Although smoking can greatly increase the risks of the disease, there is no other link associated to this form of cancer.

  • Asbestos is the cause - smoking increases the risk.

The small fibre components in this strong insulating and fire retardant material can irritate and aggravate the lungs. These tiny fibres, once airborne and inhaled, cannot easily be expelled. The fibres sharply penetrate and damage the tissue. Over a period of 20 – 30 years, the fibres become establish in the lungs causing damage. These foreign bodies are attacked in an attempt to break down. Unfortunately, this is not possible. This, therefore, results in the mesothelioma cancer.

The asbestos fibres, once air born and inhaled, cannot be expelled. This results, over a period of 20 – 30 years, into mesothelioma.

We need to fight for the rights of innocent people that contracted Mesothelioma! Take this story from the UK...

Mesothelioma Cancer, Diagnosis and Compensation

The instances of mesothelioma have yet to peak. The latency of the disease can take up to 50 years to present itself. Once the symptoms are apparent, a formal diagnosis is needed to help bring forth litigation. If you have worked with asbestos, it is important that you watch out for any symptoms. The initial signs include blood in the sputum, fatigue (feeling tired), chest wall pain, feeling breathless, wheezing and coughing. If you get these symptoms and you have worked with or had dealings with asbestos, it is important that you get checked out. Make sure that your Doctor is informed of your asbestos dealings. This could short cut wasted time.

Increasing numbers are now claiming compensation. This is predicted to increase further as diagnosis is feared yet to peak. The injustice is that people who have developed mesothelioma have got this by just innocently earning a living. They didn’t know that their work with asbestos was going to make them ill. We need to fight for their right for justice! The way to do this is MAKE THE PERPERTRAITORS PAY!

This lady from the USA has to fundraise for her treatment! THEY NEGLECTED her WELLBEING! Fight For Mesothelioma Compensation!

Mesothelioma Court Judgement

A judgement from the high court will shortly be made to determine compensation for the mesothelioma victims. It is thought that this judgment will look kindly upon people with this disease and the compensation will go directly to the sufferers. It looks like the fight may be getting easier for those with mesothelioma. Take strength from those before you who have prepared the way.

  • First get a formal diagnosis.
  • What was the company that enforced your working with asbestos? Don’t contact them; just get some updated address details and telephone numbers, if they are still in existence.
  • Contact the main trade union of the industry for which you came from. Ask them if they can recommend a good mesothelioma lawyer who may be able to help you with getting compensation.
  • Start the process! Don’t delay…. MAKE THEM PAY

Thanks Dale.. I appreciate it. I think it is good to spread the word. I didnt know of this condition until someone I took for cancer treatment mentioned she had just lost her husband the day before to it! I feel very angry that businesses try and worm their way out of paying for the suffering that this condition creates. Compensation is not to compensate... but will hurt where they need to be hurt... i.e. their pockets! Life is priceless and no amount of money can give that back. I hope that this hub might inspire people to find the strength to fight the system and raise awareness!

Thanks for reading and including it on your blog x

This hub really is informative. I know it is a high paying keyword and in this case that is great because you did a great job on the hub.

It really bothers me when people do cheap hubs or articles just for clicks but in this case the hub had a lot of work put into it and for that I commend you.

Your hub is now listed on my blog.

      Cheers

      Dale

Thank you Mom! It is sooooo important that the word gets out! I am delighted that you will advocate for these people too! Well Done! I would love their stories here. Maybe you can e-mail their experiences to me? I would be happy to add them to my hub. It will inspire hope and strength in others. x
