Almond oil is obtained from sweet almonds by pressing it in machines. Each fruit contains 35%-50% oil. It is used as a carrier of the drug. Also, it is a pale and sweeting oil and it is mostly used in aromatherapy. There are two types of almond oil:

  1. Sweet almond oil: It is extracted from the sweet seed and has a lot of medical and beauty benefits.
  2. Bitter almond oil: It is extracted from the bitter seed. This oil is used for scent and flavor on soaps, lotions, and creams.

Vitamin E is beneficial for our skin and protect us from UV light, prevents the damage of the skin, and helps the body cell to repair. So, vitamin E from this fruit is used in massage cream, hand lotions and skin lotions. Now let us talk about the benefits in detail.

Boost immune system

Regular intake boosts our immune system and helps to prevent disease in our body. Also, works as a laxative for poor digestion issues. Do not use almond oil internally for a long time and consult with your doctor before using it.

Cholesterol level

This fruit has high potassium and low sodium content in it, and it regulates the blood pressure and maintains the cholesterol levels in the body.

Heart disease

Almond is rich in protein, monounsaturated fats, folic acid and potassium, which helps to prevent the heart disease. So, use a teaspoon in daily cooking oil.

Dark circles

The oil from this fruit helps to remove dark circles and wrinkles because vitamin E helps to repair the damaged skin. It is recommended to rub daily almond oil on face around the affected area.

Skin emollient

The fruit contains the vitamin E, A, B1, B2 and vitamin B6. These all vitamins are essential for healthy skin. This oil is absorbed easily into our skin so it does not produce the oily effect and does not block the skin pores.

Used as a carrier

The oil from this fruit has high absorbable property. Therefore, it is used as a carrier of the drug in skin diseases.

This oil facilitates the hair growth. Massaging the scalp using few drops of almond oil prevents the damage of hair follicles. This oil helps to make your hair thicker, stronger and shinier.

Medicinal use

This oil is great for digestion and it is also an effective laxative. Take 2 tablespoons 3 times a day if you suffer from constipation.

Muscle relaxant

The massage with this oil relaxes the muscle and reduces the muscle pain in the body.

Almond has the amino acid called arginine which helps to relax the blood vessels. Daily use of this oil improves the sex drive of men.
