Guava juice provides a variety of health benefits. It promotes weight loss. It is a good remedy for constipation and type 2 diabetes.

Guava is a fruit which has a very high anti-oxidant concentration. It is a rich source of fiber. It has more anti-oxidants than banana, pomegranate and mango. Guava probably originated in Central America. It is a tropical fruit grown across the world. It is cheap and easily available. During the season each year guava tree bears hundreds of pear shaped fruits. The fruits contain numerous seeds. The fruits are sweet to taste. Guava juice can be prepared from the guava fruit.

The fruits are rich in dietary soluble fiber. Guava is low in calories. It contains vitamins and minerals. It contains exceptionally high levels of vitamin C which can provides protection against a variety of diseases. The fruit also contains vitamin A, flavonoids and beta-carotene. Vitamin A is good for the skin and beta-carotene has anti-cancer properties.

      Guava grows in tropical countries. The yield per tree is very high. It requires little maintenance. The fruit does not cost much. It can be said that it is poor man’s apple. Even guava leaf has medicinal properties.
