Health-Conscious Series # 10 - How to Detox and Body Cleanse at Home
You cannot avoid the temptation of frequenting the nearest fast-food outlets and eat in a jiffy because you're always in a rush.
This is true if you are working in the big city. Once, you received your 15-day payout, most of your friends and co-workers will always want for a treat at the nearest food hub.
You cannot resist it and later, you'll just realize that stress will affect your health and unbalanced diet will affect the functions of your bodily systems.
Digestive system is the most affected parts.

There are friends of yours who are also health-conscious and you can follow instructions that will prolong and change your food habit.
Our body is not design to eat more meat dishes than vegetables and fruits. So, most of the terminal diseases are usually meat-related ones.
In order to get rid of the toxins that the body endure as we intake meat dishes, we need to detox or clean our digestive tracts.
Note: This hubber was oriented by his friend who did her procedure at home. He's happy to share the rigors of staying fit and healthy.
Start detox or body cleanse for a week.
For once in your life, just do this before diseases defeat your body immunity.
1. Drink two glasses of pure coconut milk.
If you're fond of eating young coconut meat, that will be a good start in detoxifying your body.
The fresh water of young coconut is now a favorite drink in the USA or any other part of the world.
To formally start your detox or body cleansing at home, begin a one-week fasting from rice and meat dishes. You will puree and eat only fruits and vegetables. Still, you can function as a healthy person.
To start with, you need to drink:
- 2 glasses of pure coconut milk.
Do it once you've taken your dinner before 6:00 PM. Go to bed early and observe how your body will react. Take notes from the start of your 1-week detoxification or body cleansing process.
2. Eat vegetables and fruits.
As your body reacts with the 2 glasses of pure coconut milk (as natural laxative), the succeeding hours at night will bring you to empty your intestines in the comfort room.
Drink water after each episode. It will help you through the rigors of pre-detox or body cleanse stage.
In the morning, your breakfast will be composed of fresh vegetables and fruits.
You can eat a stalk of fresh celery or julienned carrots. Add fresh fruits on your diet.
Remember the following:
- Eating raw, blanched cooked vegetables (without salt or seasoning) and fruits will be every after four hours.
- If pureed (those veggies and fruits), do it at two-hour interval.
Doing this process will also require a 100 % belief and prayers that you'll get through it.
3. Fight the first effects of natural detox and body cleanse.
The first effect that you'll feel as your one-week detox and body cleanse progresses will be:
Don't be afraid when you feel it. It's how your body reacts to the process as it is adjusting to the healthy regimen that you're doing.
Even if you're working in the office or busy with regular work, you must always drink lots of water, after eating cooked, blanched or raw vegetables and fruits.
If you can finish it in a week, you must be ready for a month-long detox and body cleanse.
If you're fat, I'm sure the good effect is:
- reduction in your body weight and
- getting the right physical attributes.
There's no need to join more popular contests on television just to do this.
No fish, no meat - you can do it!
Even,Jesus Christ do it for 40 days. As the Son of God who saved us from sins (John 3:16), He gave that example on fasting or body cleansing as He saw people abusing their bodies through lavish eating.
Man is given dominion over living things on Earth, but it doesn't mean that we will exploit it all, as in indulging ourselves too much on meat dishes.
Human body is not designed for eating meat carcasses. It is suited for vegetable dishes and fruits.
Although, Isrealites were given some caprices of manna and herd of quails in the wilderness, after fleeing from Egypt, still, God already noted in the Bible that believers live longer than those people who followed their lust on food. Talk about those 7 deadly sins from the book.
Detox and Body Cleanse? The process is so easy! All you need is to do it now and see the healthy results within yourself.
