Most of the metabolic activities are entirely dependent on the amount and type of nutrients consumed by an individual. Healthy people maintain adequate amounts of all the necessary nutrients. While preparing food, special recipes should often be used to increase the chances of getting the right amount of nutrients. Quantity and quality of foods must also be observed.
