What Do You Need

Take equal quantity of neem and eucalyptus leaves and wash these thoroughly with water till they are clean and free of any dirt or contamination on them. Now take equal quantity of rose petals and clean them in a similar manner.

How to Prepare the Mixture

Put all the three ingredients in a bowl and fill it with clean water which is just enough to cover the leaves and rose petals. Now put this bowl with leaves and rose petals soaked in water on the stove and allow it to boil at a low flame. Stir the mixture gently twice or thrice to make sure that the natural ingredients in the leaves and rose petals are extracted in the water.

Once the mixture comes to the boiling point, switch off the flame and allow the mixture to cool. After the mixture has come to the room temperature carefully take out the leaves and rose petals from it with the help of a clean spoon.

How to Use the Mixture

The mixture you will obtain will be a greenish red color and should be used in place of plain water to wash your face. Use it in place of the regular tap water to wash your face with face wash/soap.

Wash your face a minimum of two to three times with this mixture along with your face wash/soap. However, you can also splash your face with this mixture several times during the day.


2. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is another home remedy that can help you get rid of acne and lighten the acne scars on your face. Moreover, it will also help you smoothen out your facial skin thus giving it a neat and clean look.

How to use Aloe Vera for Acne

When using aloe Vera for treating acne, make sure you apply it on a clean face and that your skin prior to the application is free of any dirt and oil.

As far as possible apply the gel of the fresh aloe Vera leaves and not the ones who have turned yellow. Similarly, you would also need to make sure that your eyes and lips do not come in contact with the gel. Leave it on your skin for 20 minutes or until the gel has dried completely before washing it off.

When using aloe Vera for treating acne, make sure you apply it regularly and at least twice a day to take utmost advantage of its acne clearing property.
