Thank you for reading my hub Nadine. 'Folk Remedies' was actually the very first attempt I made at writing. Also included in my ebook 'Health is Wealth.' I had hundreds of books which all burnt out in the fire. Nothing was left, not even a piece of the freezer or washing machine. You can believe how fierce that fire burnt. Of course nothing was insured. I sat in my car like a zombie for a few days, in a state of shock. Anyway, then the man that was removing the bricks from the bottom floor, brought me my hard cover book with the notes of 'Folk Remedies.' Just the edges had burnt away and I could still read my notes. He had found it under some bricks. It was like a light shining through the darkness. Like God was saying, 'never mind, I am with you, you will still succeed.'

Sometimes when I am feeling down, I remember that incident as an example of how God works. I mean how can hundreds of books burn out and one hardcover book survive.
