Herbs, spices, & roots have been the life-saving natural substances that all cultures have depended on over the centuries and when time began.

The natural properties of herbs, spices, and roots were not known at the time to heal, cure, and use to remedy common ailments and those that are engaged to treat some extreme illnesses.

We find that the most common kitchen or garden herbs are a natural supplement to spice up or naturally flavor our foods. Interestingly enough, it is mentioned in the bible that “God provided man with all herb bearing seeds that is upon the surface of the earth and all the trees, wherein is the fruit of a tree producing seed.”

Holistically herbs are used and engaged in the use of and supplementation of alternative medicine, the use of herbs are used as a medicinal alternative to prescription medicines of the modern world.

Commonly used in European, Chinese, Ayurvedic, Western, and Native American systems of government and cultures.

So what are herbs? According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary herbs are: A plant or plants that are valued for its medicinal, savory, or aromatic qualities; And that also includes marijuana, which is in fact is an herb. Ingestion, inhaling, and rubbing the herbs on the body are common practices in the holistic and alternate medicinal fields.

If ingested the herbs are rapidly affective to the immune system and bloodlines of the body.

If inhaled it is rapidly affective to the lungs where it is transformed into chemical compounds by the body internally that could provide nutrients, vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, and chemical reactions that are positive affects to the mind-brain or body.

Rubbing herbs on the body provides an immediate reaction or response with your pores and it is absorbed in the pores to the bloodstream and circulatory system. The herb may generate heat or coldness in the body and in turn generates a reaction or response of chemicals that are induced by the event like perspiration or cooling in the body.

Some herbs may be toxic, so it may be advisable to check for allergic reactions and check with your physician if it may cause an adverse reaction.


Since we are talking about herbs; I am sure many of you WOULD AGREE the first thought is of marijuana. So just what is marijuana? It is the dried leaves or hemp plant (cannabis, hashish) that is used in different cultures by smoking for medicinal purposes and an intoxicating effect. Some states have legalized marijuana and have also implemented laws that some states can dispurse and have marijuana shops to sell to the prescribed public (need a doctor’s prescription).

The properties of a marijuana plant inhibit molecules to slow the process of cancer and toxic side effects of chemotherapy, glaucoma, AIDS, or illnesses associated with the blood. Marijuana contains an active analgesic; it may induce hallucinations or sleep in some people, it could also produce a more relaxed and less stressful inhibited process.

It was discovered in China by the 3rd millennium BC and reached Europe by AD 500; it is also widely used in the entire world and at present, although it is still illegal, in some parts of the world it is not.


Rosemary is a fragrant and aromatic herb that is a plant that grows in shrubby bushes and is known to stimulate the blood and molecules, it is a carminative. What is rosemary? Rosemary is a plant and the leaves are used for enhancing the flavor of meats and soups with a savory rugged mint-like quality.

Rosemary was discovered in Europe and Asia Minor and was used to flavor foods and used for its aroma after dried and lit. It grows into a bushy shrub that stands about 3 to 7 feet.

Inhalation of rosemary when dried and lit can stimulate the glands and in turn cause reactions or responses in the body that stimulate chemical compounds in the body. Since it is a mint, rosemary rubbed onto the skin can stimulate growth of cells or molecules and cools the body.


Aloe Vera is a cactus or plant that is one of the most widely used alternate medicinal plants in the world. It has been used for thousands of years, 5000 years to be exact in Egypt and the Americas for sustenance and medicinal use.

Aloe Vera is a cannabis or herbaceous pant. It is used as a drink, cooked, or rubbed on the skin. This plant or herb is the most potent plant or herb known to man and is one of the most powerful healers in the planet.

The gel is used as a medicine for internal and external use for burns, healing wounds, frostbite, and immune system disorders, women’s health remedies for fluid menstrual control and balance or stabilization. It stimulates growth of healthy cells at the cellular level or molecules level.

It also stabilizes the reactions that the body produces in reacting to injuries that cause pain or are associated with pain. It also stimulates nutrients in the neurons where there may be nerve damage. It is a remedy for coughs, constipation, and headaches.

Aloe Vera is one of the most powerful plants or herbs available to use in the treatment of diabetes.

It is used for treatment of diabetes to reduce the blood sugar levels and triglyceride levels. It also helps patients with gastric ulcers.

Aloe Vera is available both in liquid, gel, or natural form and is used in a variety of foods, drinks, pastes, facial products, and medicinal gels. It is a universal plant or herb that could be ingested and rubbed on body for the most rapid response or reaction that the body is capable of engaging. It will go directly to the bloodstream or the circulatory system to respond or react with chemicals in the body. Stimulus, reaction, and induction are the circulatory reactions or responses that will affect the body that generate positive affects in the bloodstream or circulatory system.
