Almost everyone of us at one point of time or the other suffer from pain in our body. It could be pain in the eyes, feet, joints or head. Popping up pills is not the right option because of course these medicines tend to have side effects too if taken for over a longer period of time. Headache: If you suffer from severe headache then you can apply a paste of ginger over the forehead. You can even apply paste made from powder of dry ginger and lukewarm water to help you get relief from pain. (if you are pregnant and suffering from headaches then read this article)

Ear Pain: At times, ear pain can be ruinous. You just need to wrap garlic buds in a ball of cotton and simply place it in your ears. This will ease out your pain.

Toothache: Pain in the gums and tooth can be extremely disturbing. You can place two or three cloves in the oral cavity. This is said to be most effective in easing out the pain. If you can get clove oil then just apply a little bit of it on cotton and place it on the tooth where you have pain. Cloves are said to be one of the best pain relievers when it comes to toothache.

Dysmenorrhea: If women have been suffering from painful monthly cycles, then consuming fenugreek seeds with lukewarm water help to ease pain.

Pain due to indigestion/gas: Mint leaves are said to be quite beneficial in helping you get relief from indigestion and gas. You can even drink a decoction of cumin seeds or coriander which helps to ease out indigestion. If you are suffering from gastritis pain, then it is recommended that you take garlic paste with buttermilk.

Painful Urination: Pain or burning sensation during urination is a common cause of unrest. If not treated on time it can even cause urinary infection. The best way to get rid of this is to drink plenty of fluids especially water on a daily basis. You can also include more of cranberry juice, apple juice to ease pain in urine. You can also drink cardamom water to relieve pain. Eating tender coconut helps to reduce burning while barley water if consumed reduces pain.

Knee/ Joint: Aloe vera has proved to be very effective in treating pain of the knee or joint. The pulp of aloe vera should be mixed with turmeric and heated. Foot Pain: Foot pain is generally caused if we have been sitting for long hours or due to being overweight. You can apply sesame oil or castor oil on the foot and give it a proper massage. This should be followed with keeping your foot in lukewarm water for around 15 minutes.

      thanks LL Woodard for voting and sharing the hub, you are right even i have applied clove oil on tooth and my mouth was having sensation, but it did cured the tooth when i did it twice a day.

      I can attest to the effectiveness of clove oil applied to the tooth/gum for temporary relief of toothache. Putting whole or crushed cloves in the mouth may also work, but your entire mouth will become numb, maybe not the effect you are seeking.
