      Hello, Dry and patchy skin can be cured with the help of Honey face masks. It will give your facial skin the required moisture. You can apply honey with a wet finger directly on your face and wash after 20 minutes.

      Thanks for this very useful hub! I personally battle with dry facial skin because I use benzoyl peroxide for my acne. I have to agree with you that honey does help moisturize the face. In addition to that it also fights bacteria - great! I would also suggest using oatmeal for removing dead skin cells on the face and even in the body. I'never found a commercial exfoliant that is better than the old, natural, cheap and effective oatmeal :)

Yes its true that hot water can increase the dry face skin problem as hot showers take off the moisture from the skin causing it dry, rough, flaky. Honey can be applied alone or you can add it in a face mask. Honey will nourish, hydrate your dry skin on face more than any commercial product. Its an very effective home remedy for dry face skin!!
