I like to share information that makes life more joyful and meaningful. My main interests are health and general wellness in body and mind.

Headache causes : headache cure

Who has never experienced headache? I don't think anyone can claim that he or she has never had a headache. Headache causes are many. You don't need to be a doctor to pinpoint some of the more common headache causes. Lack of sleep; too much concentration on a single object; constant worrying; stress; tiredness; over exertion; and not the least "for no apparent reason!"

What about headache cure? Take two paracetamol, and go to sleep? That's what most people do.

Are there any alternative home headache cure available? Yes! Read on.

Headache cure. Simple home treatment method 1 : use your thumbs

From my personal experience, headache takes many forms, in different parts of the head. Sometimes the whole head seems to go bonkers. Sometimes over "here," and sometimes over "there."

In my case, I usually have throbbing pain on both side of my head, just above the ears, that is right on the temples. There is a very simple massage technique that will ease the pain. Just place your thumb on each side of the temple and simply massage around it, in a circular motion applying a bit of pressure. Even without a headache, when you massage the spots, you would immediately feel relief around the head! This method is also known as massaging the acupressure points.

Try it now. Close your eyes and massage as directed for 30 seconds, then open your eyes. Do you feel the effect? You can also use the palm of your hand just below the thumb to massage, instead of the thumb.

My water buffalo horn scraper

Headache cure. Simple home treatment method 2 : scraping the scalp

When you have a headache all over the head, there is yet another easy home headache cure. Just massage the whole head by using a hard "scraper," gently applying pressure and scrape through the head area.

I have a gadget made from the horn of the water buffalo for this purpose. Take a look at the picture on the right. I don't think you can get it in your country. Water buffalo horn has the "water element" and is supposed to complement this massage technique. In fact, I use this gadget everyday to massage my scalp immediately after taking my shower. This is a very therapeutic scrape-massage for the scalp. I always feel very "clear-headed" after that.

You can improvise by using ruler, spoon, blunt side of dining knife, or any hard object. Failing which, just use your fingers!

Try it, you have nothing to lose, except your headache!

I am just sharing my experience which has worked for me. And I hope you will benefit too. As there is no intake of any substance, and as it doesn't cost you a cent, you can try it even right now. Who knows, if it works for me, it may work for you too!

The headache cure is so easy and simple. They only take a few minutes of your time. Close your eyes and massage as directed for 30 seconds. You will feel more painful sensation in some areas. These are the areas that are causing the headache. These techniques are so simple that they cannot be "sold" commercially. You see, nature is teaching us to use natural treatment instead of taking headache medication which may have side effects.

Simple, easy and free; just follow the above natural heahache cure and you will not have anymore headache!

Take a look at my video below. If you can't figure out what I was saying, it's ok, just watch the video.

Headache cure as a preventive measure.

Even if you don't have a headache, the headache cure as described above is also good for generating healthy blood flow around the head, preventing any impending headache. Prevention is better than cure, a very proactive and healthy approach.

For those who have chronic migraine problem, these massaging techniques should do you good. You may also like to read my other related article "How to do a simple head massage".
