There are many different views when it comes to homemade pregnancy tests. Many people completely swear by them, while other's feel that they are a complete waste of time and effort.

But what are the cold hard facts about the homemade pregnancy tests, and how accurate are they? Well, for all the people who think that the homemade pregnancy tests are a complete flop, you are wrong. Sorry, but the Bleach pregnancy test has a proven 95% accuracy. A test that is bought from your local store has an 97% accuracy.

This means, if you were to do a bleach pregnancy test, and it come back with a "POSITIVE" result, then buying one from the store should also come back with a similar result. If anything, more pronounced.

So, now that you know that they are accurate, why not give them a try. Here are 10 homemade pregnancy tests that have an accuracy of 95%:

The Bleach based homemade pregnancy test is one of the most popular homemade test that women seem to want to try.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bleach
  • Gloves
  • Face Mask
  • Cup
  • Container
  • Fresh Urine

HOW TO DO THE TEST:

  1. Before handling the bleach, make sure to put on the gloves and face mask. You should also make sure you are going to be doing the test in a well ventilated area.
  2. Carefully pour 1/2 cup of bleach into a disposable container or cup.
  3. Measure 1/2 cup of water into another cup and mark the area. Then pour out the water and then put your fresh urine into the cup that you measured out.
  4. Slowly pour your urine into the cup which has the bleach in it.
  5. Let stand for 3-5 minutes, if it begins to foam or start fizzing, then its supposed to be a POSITIVE result.

The vinegar homemade pregnancy test is said to be the most reliable homemade pregnancy test there is.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 2 clean disposable cups
  • White Refined Vinegar
  • Container for test

HOW TO DO THE TEST:

  1. Measure 1/2 cup of water in one of the disposable cups. Mark the outside of the cup so you know where to stop. Then pour out the water when your done measuring.
  2. Urinate in the cup that you measured for the 1/2 cup mark.
  3. Measure out 1 cup of White Refined Vinegar
  4. Pour both into the "test" container.
  5. Wait 3-5 minutes.
  6. Watch for the mixture to bubble up or for it to change color. If it does, then it is a POSITIVE result.

3.) Pinesol Pregnancy Test

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Gloves
  • Pinesol-Reg
  • 3 Plastic Containters
  • 1 Test Container
  • Measuring Cups
  • Face Mask

HOW TO DO THE TEST:

  1. Before starting, make sure you put on your gloves and your face mask. Some people are able to handle the smell of Pinesol. While other's cant.
  2. Use the measuring cup to measure 1/2 cup of water, pour the water in to the disposable cups. Mark on the outside of the cup where the 1/2 cup spot is. After that you can pour the water out. The marked spots are for the rest of the test.
  3. Using the marks on the outside of the cup, pour the Pinesol into the first cup to the 1/2 cup mark
  4. In the other cup you will need to urinate or put fresh urine into the cup until it hits the spot of 1/2 cup.
  5. Take both the cup with the Pinesol and the cup with the urine in it and pour it into the testing cup or container.
  6. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes then you can check for the results.
  7. If the color changes, then it is an "POSITIVE" result

4.) Dandelion Pregnancy Test

What You Need:

  • 2-3 Dandelion Leaves, Kept out of sunlight
  • 1/2 cup Urine
  • 1 Plastic Container, Wide
  • 1 Plastic Cup

How to Do the Test:

  1. Cut and arrange the leaves into the plastic container
  2. Urinate into the plastic cup about half way.If using a SOLO cup, halfway should be about 1/2 cup
  3. Pour the urine into the plastic container that has the leaves in it. Make sure they are submerged
  4. Let sit for 10 minutes before checking for results
  5. Red blisters on the leaves means "POSITIVE"

5.) Vinegar And Tuna Juice Pregnancy Test

  • White Vinegar
  • Fresh Urine

  • Can of Tuna

HOW TO DO THE TEST:

  1. Before starting, make sure to put your gloves and face mask on.
  2. First strain the juice from the tuna can.
  3. Measure equal amounts of white vinegar and the tuna can juice.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • 2 Tylenol Tablets
  • Fresh Urine
  • 3 disposable cups

HOW TO DO THE TEST:

  1. Measure of 1/4 of the Hydrogen Peroxide into one of the cups.
  2. Use a pill crusher to crush up the 2 Tylenol tabs. Put them in one of the other cups.
  3. Add 1/4 cup of fresh urine to the last of the 3 cups.
  4. Mix them all together in the testing container.

  1. Make sure to put on the gloves and the face mask before you start
  2. Measure 1/4 cup of Draino into one of the disposable cups
  3. Add urine
  4. Wait a few minutes
  5. If it changes to a bluish, green color then it should be read as "POSITIVE".

HOW TO DO THE TEST:

  1. Open up the toothpaste and put a good size dollop on the paper plate.
  2. Next you need fresh urine in one of the plastic cups. You will not need much. Just about 2 tablespoons
  3. Use a little medicine dropper that you can throw away, and draw up some of the urine.
  4. Then Squeeze a small about of the urine onto the toothpaste.
  5. Wait 5-10 minutes for results.
  6. It is foaming, or a blue color then it should be read as "POSITIVE"

HOW TO DO THE TEST:

  1. Put the bar of soap in the bowl, add a little bit of water in the bowl.
  2. Work the bar of soap around the bowl until it gets really soapy in the bowl.
  3. Add the fresh urine into the bowl.
  4. Wait 2-5 minutes for results
  5. If it becomes extremely bubbly, then it should be read as a POSITIVE result.


10.) "Urine In A Jar" Pregnancy Test

  • Glass Jar
  • Fresh Urine
  • 24 hours of time

HOW TO DO THE TEST:

  1. Get your glass jar, urinate in it, filling up atleast half of the jar.
  2. Leave the jar on a flat surface for a full 24 hours without being messed with.
  3. If there is a white layer on the top of the urine sample when the 24 hours is up, then it should be read as a "POSITIVE" result.
