Ho’oponopono cleansing and healing Tools:

Updated on August 5, 2013

Ho’ oponopono is a powerful healing process and it is very simple to do. You can practice this anywhere, anytime to bring to peace of mind.

Basically as I have explained in my hub http://hubpages.com/hub/Hoo-ponopono-the-art-of-cleaning-and-letting-go there are four phrases that are used and these phrases are powerful tools.

Words as tools:

The four phrases are tools you can use.

  • I’m sorry.
  • Please forgive me.
  • I love you.
  • Thank you.

The first two phrases I’m sorry and please forgive me, allow you to take total responsibility for the situation. The other two- I love you and thank you, work as passwords to get into the program to clean it up- they just give permission. The healing- cleaning is actually done by the divine.

Another important tool is “the peace of I”

This is my peace I give you, not anybody else’s peace

Some more power words that can be used as Ho’oponopono cleaning tools:

  • Ice Blue
  • Dewdrop
  • Lightswitch
  • I am the I
  • Flypaper

Some material tools: for some people the idea of using words as tools is not comfortable. There are many physical tools available too.

Blue solar water: this is plain tap water that is filled in a blue glass bottle and kept in the sun for at least about half an hour. The water gets charged and makes a powerful cleaning tool. Drink as much of it as you want, there are no limits. If you charge one bottle of water, you can simply add a few drops of this water in to a glass of plain water and that water will also get charged. This is a very simple tool to make and use. All you need is a blues glass bottle- dark or light. (do not use a metal cap, you can instead use a cork or plastic to close the mouth. This is to prevent insects and bugs from getting into it. These creatures apparently love blue solar water.

You can use this water to treat cuts, burns, injuries etc; you can use it for cooking and bathing too. You can give your pets some to drink or spray it on them.

(if you do net get a blue bottle, you can take a clear glass bottle and paint it blue on the outside, or cover it with some blue transparent cloth, or transparent blue paper. else you can use a blue glass vase)

Erasers: a simple plain eraser also works as a cleaning tool. You can also use erasers that are attached to the end of a pencil.

Sometimes cleaning tools just show up in your life.

I remember doing Ho’oponopono on one really stressful pattern in my life. I used the phrases and I combined them with EFT. When I felt a little calmer, I stepped out of my office for a while, as I stepped out, I saw an eraser lying on the floor. It was a used broken eraser. I remember thinking that wow, what if we could simply erase the past with an eraser. And I left it lying there, and a couple of hours later I came across an article that said – the cleaning tool can just show up in your life- for that person the tool was a bluebell flower! I made the connection instantly; my tool was to be an eraser! I have total faith in the divine. (I just wished I had stopped to pick up that eraser in the corridor. I let it go and did a cleaning on that too.)

Fruits and flowers are also cleaning tools. Strawberries and blueberries work as good cleaning tools. They help in erasing memories. You can start using the words and phrases as you tools and then watch for what shows up in your life for you to use as additional tools.

Clean plain water: place a glass or bottle of clear water near you if you are feeling really stressed out. The water helps cleanup programs. Do not drink this water as it will have absorbed your negative energy, just throw it away. If you are really stressed out change the water a couple of times. Remember to thank the water and say I love you to it- that way you do a cleaning on the water too.

Remember to thank any physical or material tool that shows up in your life. You can do a cleaning on your clothes, your food, your home, your children, your pets, your money whatever you wish just by thanking it for showing up in your life and saying I love you to it.

      Dear Vibhavari

      I am practicing this divine meditation from Hawaii for the past two years and living happily now. In the morning I will start with a prayer and use these four cleaning tools to erase memories from the heart. In fact through this wonderful practice I cleaned memories of my relatives and collegues and seen the changes in them with out informing them.

      It is a wonderful technique, but In India I think no one is doing this except few like you.

      Thanks for stay connected with you. I am Kumar from Chennai my email id kumar.mentor@gmail.com

      I am ready to share this technique to anyone who is interested.

      Hi Digvijay,

      What you are saying is exactly what I have said in this hub, along with listing other tools; if you have read it carefully. I have also written another hub https://hubpages.com/health/Hoo-ponopono-the-art-o... that says the same thing. :)

      The four phrases are tools you can use.

      * I’m sorry.

      * Please forgive me.

      * I love you.

      * Thank you.

      Just go on saying this over and over in your mind, every time you feel disturbed.
