People may assume that the 21st century woman is without problems when it come to solving weight loss issues. Contrary to that, most mums don’t have time on their side because we are living in a technological world where being busy is the code we live by. Most women go with the fad diets just because they fit so well in this convenience-driven society. These diets are full of empty promises and do not live up to the expectation of most women. These are fairy tales that have a ‘happily never after’ ending.

These diets are like eating fat to reduce fat. There is a “secret” diet that is said to work effectively but the problem is that once you have stopped the diet you will be back to the weight you were trying so hard to lose plus a few more pounds.
Working so hard to be thin instead of healthy is something common in Hollywood, but this will not apply to the real world where women are struggling to permanently lose weight. Celebrity diets are only quick-fix solutions because you cannot rely on the magic ingredient all your life.
The diets above are so tempting but their results are not long term. Most of them are more inclined on the commercial aspect of it. The companies making the diet pills gain massive profits while women spend sleepless night trying to figure out why the pills are not working as the adverts say. Losing weight has nothing to do with magic pills, starvation or fancy diets, it has everything to do with naturally losing weight. You do not have to deny your body the food it deserves, all you have to do is reduce the calories in your intake complemented by regular exercise and your baby fat will be gone sooner than you think.
